At first had alot of headaches with trying to load the included software to my laptop then tried my home cpu, no luck. The software just won't work. Tried to install the virtual dj and it worked great. No problems with mixing live. My laptop now does most of the work. All my orginal cds are now mp3s. and mixing live has just been taken to a new level. My laptop is a simple hp with 1 gig of ram and will take it with no problem runing windows xp to allow software compatibility. The three band EQ will not maintain the adjustments from song to song but if you reset while cueing the next song no problem. For the dj that knows what he wants without spending too much of his earnings keep it simple and go digital with a control such as this, less work and a great performance throughout the night. you just have to know how to combine it with softwares that will do what you want to include in your performance. For the money you cannot go wrong. My setup is laptop, bcd2000, 4 channel mixer w/7band eq , peavey215, 3/4 peavey X over , 3 amps and 2 1500 earthquakes, 2 djs4 1000watt, 2 added tweeter boxes 400 watts ea. All together quality sound you can hear and feel.

So I received the unit damage the master volume knob was recessed into the device, one of the scratch wheels, well was scratching on its own, and a few of the buttons were sticky. That was just the beginning. I do realize that it says will only work on Windows XP. With that being said, the device would not even install on any Win 7 machine, the software did load on my win 7 computer just fine but i couldn't get it to recognize the BCD2000. So i dug up one of my old Win xp laptops loaded the software and still problems, got the new software from Behringers website still problems. After playing around with it for a good couple of hours it finally loaded(have no idea how it just did). So it seemed to work well then the software froze, it just stopped playing music. Went into task manager and the program was responding just fine. So i exited out of the program and tried again 4 songs in same issue. SO my laptop isn't the greatest it has a dual core 2.2 ghz processor and 2 gigs of ram but when the program and device only work on Win xp your really limited to computer specs. In closing just don't buy this its just a cheap outdated piece of junk which Behringer no longer supports, save your time, money and frustration and get something else.

Comments about Behringer B-Control Deejay BCD2000:
Decent for begginers
(I purchased the BCD 3000 but the only diffrence is the software)
Pretty good," But not for the DJ that wants to scratch (no good non touch senstive Jog wheel)
Good", Well made (minus the jog wheels)
Good, Only $150 With sound card XLR Mic, 2 external Turn Table in puts and stereo outputs! LEDs Amazing quality Faders and Head Phones Input!
Comments about Behringer B-Control Deejay BCD2000:
This is an awesome product for beginner DJ's. Its a mixer, interface and has 2 jog wheels all in one small light weight console. The good things about this product is that you can scratch with no delay, cue up, add FX, and use a microphone. The bad part about it is that the driver ARE NOT going to to with vista. XP and XP only!!! Also the software is not good. I recommend using Virtual DJ.
Comments about Behringer B-Control Deejay BCD2000:
The unit itself is great for the money, but the software is horrible! When I tested it out with the software and drivers provided the music skipped every few second. The drivers are too weak to handle the audio stream and control instructions. I got a copy of virtual dj and set it up so that the software uses the standard driver in the comp instead of the behringer driver and a 512 latency, optimized for performance, worked great. The prob is that virtual dj cost too much! I would definately recommend getting the BCD3000 instead because it comes with DJ Tractor. Hopefully Behringer will come out with an update that actually works. If you have software already, then this unit is a great buy for someone that DJ's every now and again.
Comments about Behringer B-Control Deejay BCD2000:
I purchased one, returned it because one of the scratch wheels was rubbing side of the case and the master volume cover fell into the unit. I got replacement unit and the right play button sticks (it does not bounce back, sometimes). It has a lot of features and works good as a midi controller and audio card but the quality is terrible, its a toy. If you are a pro DJ do not buy it. If you want a cheep toy this will work just fine.

Comments about Behringer B-Control Deejay BCD2000:
I own the BCD2000 and loved the simplicity. After lugging crates around for so long and doing firends parties with all my stuff i had to buy shares in my chiropracters business. So when this beauty came along i jumped at the chance. And as usual, no one told me about the software. What a headache, about 1 hour into my set it stalls...And CRASHES!!!! Not good when people are paying for you and the crowd is dancing. Behringer dont seem to have the answer, although the release of the 3000 and traktor software could fix this. If anyone knows of a driver update please let me know or else buy the M-Audio Torq Xponent. It ROCKS!
Comments about Behringer B-Control Deejay BCD2000:
After getting over the initial excitement of finally buying this great looking piece of hardware, I quickly began to have doubts. The EQ sounds terrible - like most Behringer products though, so there's nothing new there. I constantly feel as if I'm going to break a knob off or something, it's a bit sensitive even after loading the latest available driverset which supposedly fixes the EQ sensitivity...-36db? C'mon - if you need that, then you shouldn't even be trying to mix. I also had huge issues with the software crashing my laptop when playing Variable Bit Rate MP3's and certain Wave files - updating the crappy B-Dj software solved that, but introduced a digital click that unsync's the decks when mixing sometimes - even if you pitch adjust manually without using the Sync Slave button...I have a hunch that it may be Power vs USB vs Software causing it, but havn't gone further yet. Having said all this, for someone who wants the control and convenience of having a good few thousand MP3's at hand with an intuitive interface and relatively feature-packed software (even though it sucks, it's free...lol), the BCD2000 is good value for money.
Comments about Behringer B-Control Deejay BCD2000:
I bought this product about two months ago. After spending at least two weeks uploading my music files, and typing in song information, this product did not work properly. After playing at least five or six songs there was this horrible, audible digital distortion. I thought the problem was with my Dell 1501 laptop. I spent money increasing the memory to 2 gigabytes. The problem did not go away. It is only later that I found out that Behringer had actually repackaged the same product as the BCD 3000, but it was now available with the Tracktor software. Imagine you can not get any help from Behringer because they have refused to stand by their own software. This software will not run properly with modern laptops because the usb ports are not compatible with it. I should have saved my money and gotten something better. Oh well, you get what you pay for.
