I was kind of skeptical about the Behringer seeing as how I've had some iffy opinions about it with fellow DJs but I can't say any negative things about this board.

One issue I came across was the first mixer I got had a short or something in the fourth channel and some of the audio outputs. Sent it back and got a replacement no problem. Got my new board and it works flawlessly, except for the occasional user error ;]

This thing is jammed pack full of little gizmos. Everything you could want in a mixer for it's level is built right into the board. The effects are outstanding and contain anything and everything you'd need. I personally love the simple high-pass but this thing seriously has EVERY effect you could really think of.

I only bumped it down from a 10 to a 9 because the sampler is a little dry, though I haven't really taken the time to learn how to use it properly. It's never really interested me and the times I've tried to play with it it seemed like way too much set-up, so don't rely on it too much unless you are willing to work with it.

Incredible quality for this price-range as well. Audio is clear and crisp," it keeps its levels great -- everything. I haven't had an issue with mine as far as quality goes.

One teensy ""feature"" that I have a nearly unoticable issue with is", when playing low-frequency music such as some dubstep songs, the effects processor, when enabled, will have a high-pass cut of 20Hz that you cannot change other than to turn the effect off. Other than that the full frequency range is sent through, which is fine for me :]

Not much to say other than I seriously got way more than what I paid for!

The quality of this mixer is very low, the knob and faders all feel flimsy and buttons don't feel nice either. The effects sound very cheesie. I would not feel comfortable using this mixer on the road do to the cheap build. I now have a Allen & Heath Xone 42 which was alot more money and less features but the sound quality is amazing and the build is awesome. Also the analog filters are amazing.

The Behringer DDM4000 PRO DIGITAL DJ MIXER works for all of my needs.  The effects machine works great and I use it often.  I was hesitant at first because of its low price , but I have been using it for a long time and I love it!!  I have used many other Behringer mixers and they all work well.

Iv'e had my DDM 4000 for about a year now and it still never stops to amaze me! The fact u can assigne the effects to a specific channel, THEN to a specific band on that channel is phanominal. The look of it is very clean and professinal. Its also strong, Mine has been thru hell and back and it still has all its original buttons and knobs. In my personal oppinion and may others that have used the mixer in my area. We beleive its as good or in some cases better then any Pionner.

This was a huge step up from my old 2 channel.  I love having the sampler, dual assignable bpm counters, effects, eq kill switches. The midi just takes it off the charts.  The learning curve is a bit rough. I get hum from output A. Some of the buttons are tiny and the lettering can be difficult to read in low lighting. The biggest con for me is that the user settings don't want to save and reload. I'm guessing there is a dead battery inside maybe.
