Our PMP 1000 has served us well for over a year. I find the digital FX to be to much, to large, but they came with the machine.
Pretty well built. Has been dropped a few times and continues on...
Price is not bad...

I have had this mixer for a year and a half. I have had to have it replaced under the warranty 4 seperate times. I barely use it. When I do use it it will only work for a short period of time and then something will go wrong with it like an output ceases to work, the wires melt, etc. I used the mixer to run to small stage monitors. It is not reliable whatsoever. Behringer is usually a headache when you are trying to get a repair or replacement under the warranty. They do not return calls, forget to send out emails, and do not supply their service repairmen with new parts to fix the Behringer items that were brought in. My most recent experience with the mixer: the left output channel stopped working on it after Behringer had just sent me a new one 2 months prior. I spent a month getting an RA #, and when I finally did, I dropped it off at the Behringer repair place Thanksgiving week. It took until mid-January for them to tell the repairman that they were not shipping anymore parts out (for whatever reason) and woud be sending me a NEW one. Here its now February 17th and I received a refurbished one that does not even work...don't let the warranty make you feel like there is any security behind buying the product.

Comments about Behringer EUROPOWER PMP1000 Powered Mixer:
Bought this a while back and did not use it much, mostly for band practice. Never did push it hard, 2 or 3 vocal mics and a set of drum mics. Did a small benefit show in an indoor arenea with no sound system and this little guy stepped up and made it rock. Granted big open area lots of sound bouncing around, but this thing filled the room without making to much ugly echo. Using Peavey 2x15 on either side and stage monitors it ran it all with no problems. 3 vocal mics, 2 drum overheads kick drum, bass and guitar all sounded great.

Comments about Behringer EUROPOWER PMP1000 Powered Mixer:
I would spend a little more and buy a unit that is more dependable.
Used the mixer three times and then the effects went bad. Mixer is only usable on one of 99 effects channels. All others produce a constant irritating ocean sound. I won't buy another Behringer product.
What good is a great price if the product fails.
Comments about Behringer EUROPOWER PMP1000 Powered Mixer:
I've had the PMX1000 version of this (600w) and though I can agree that it is not as powerful as stated, this work horse has gotten me through HUNDREDS of gigs. It has gotten more expensive since I bought mine, but between the features and portability, it has payed for itself dozens of times over.Don't know how this version compares, but if you're an acoustic musician (either solo or duo) and you can't afford one of the tower systems from Bose or Fishman, and you have passive speakers with speakon cables, this is definitely a great bargain.
Comments about Behringer EUROPOWER PMP1000 Powered Mixer:
For a guy that is looking to do more than just DJ, the PMP 1000 is a great option. It has plenty of power to fill a basketball court size gym, and has awesome features and effects to work with live performance. I use the internal power for monitors as I have pwered main cabinets. I have heard that it is not good to run drums through any sort of powered mixer, but I have have not needed to worry about this yet. I haven't been able to find a good rack case to mount it in yet, and this would be my only complaint. If you are looking for a great alternative to a DJ style board with a lot more features, this is a great option. If you are looking to use it for you main board for a heavy metal band, it likely wont have enough power for that application, but it supports external amplifiers and effect well. I would recommend to anyone with realistic expectations.
Comments about Behringer EUROPOWER PMP1000 Powered Mixer:
Before I bought this unit I previously read from other customers this mixer has a low output power, however I'm using it's power just for one or two monitors for small/medium venues, all mixer features are great and it's sound quality is excellent. I'm combining it with tow JBL EON 515, the sound coming from thw whole system is excellent.
Comments about Behringer EUROPOWER PMP1000 Powered Mixer:
This amplifier does not produce the audio levels that are stated. Just like another review here, you have to turn the volume to clipping for it to barely be enough to be heard. I've got plenty of experience and know this is not a connection problem.

Comments about Behringer EUROPOWER PMP1000 Powered Mixer:
Don't do it! Very weak on power! 1st unit had a bad monitor channel, store gave me floor model noticed low power in mics, gain channel full, volume pot full, very little power, new unit came in the unit shut down twice during gig, notice fan not working, again gains and volume set to max. Own a lot of Behringer stuff love it but this unit does not stack up! Trust me don't get it. PMP units not good.
