This is my 6th piece of Behringer equipment. I don't have anything bad to say about the company. Their equipment is priced right and produces/reproduces professional quality sound. They've done it again with this mixer. I love the reverb effects on this unit. It is extremely useful, the other effects aren't so much of a highlight for me, but the reverb is great. Simple and easy to use, very effective, great sound. The flexibility of the EQ'ing is really helpful too. The sound that comes out of this unit could pass as professional if you know what you're doing. I don't even have expensive mic's. I'm using Nady drum mic's, I've got 3 Behringer dynamic's, and 3 MXL condensor's. I'm recording live in my living room and getting beautiful sound. Once the recordings are mastered I strongly believe that my "demo's" are going to be studio grade album ready tracks (which is my goal). This board enabled me to get a near perfect drum sound with 8 mic's in less than 2 hours. Getting a good drum sound is something I've personally watched sound engineers struggle with for days using top dollar professional equipment. It is, however, possible with this budget priced desk. Buy one, you'll be a believer too.

I have owned and used many Behringer products over the years. At first Behringer was as good or better than Mackie at about 1/3 of the price for comparable items. Somewhere along the line they have lost alot in quality. Overall, they still make a fair product for the price, but this mixer did not give me the gain or power in my mics, and the effects worked at first but then I went to turn it on one day and the effects were no longer working. I still use this board for many things from mixing live and recorded music to video production and Live video webcasting, but I will soon be replacing it with a Mackie or an Alesis. Behringers customer service is not so great these days either.

My band and I borrowed this mixer to record some stuff. It seamed to work ok but some times the mic inputs would give out. Other times the whole thing would just buzzing and it was useless. It was in good shape it was never dropped or anything its just not a good quality mixer. If you want a good mixer I would go for a Makie.
Overall good enough for the price and if the bottom line is the overriding factor then go for it. Features are very good for this cheapish mixer (around ?200 here in Ireland) sound quality is good enough but not if youre an audiophile and are into sonic excellence then this may not be for you. Recently a fault has developed whereby all 99 effects are dead and the LEDs (1-99) are out so I called my supplier and they'll give me a new one (thats what they do if its a Behringer!) but if this happens again I'll get a Yamaha or Alesis.
Great quality for the money. Sounds great. Loads of features.
Just got this one last month. A big step frotm the small B I had before. Everything sounds so good coming through this thing. It's pretty simple to use, once you figure out how to tailor it to your needs, very versaile indeed. I find myself thinking of it at night, thinking of different ways to connect and output, I even went out and bought more cables to make things the way I wanted. The FX are way better that I thought they would be, although a little more control as to what the effect is doing would be nice of course. If you're thinking about it, do it, I have no regrets on this purchase whatsoever.
This board is so ridiculously intuitive I had gret sounding recordings done the day after I bought it. The onboard effects bank is huge and the reverbs are incredible. It's nice in a home studio to have all instruments eternall hooked up to a channel.... enough inputs to make plug-and-play recording work like a charm. Just set it and forget it. Really, really nice.
A great mixer for a great price with so many great features from a 9-band equalizer - special effects, many routing options. Great for small gigs or to combine with another sound board.
Being this reasonably priced caused me to doubt that the mixer would last. I'm very happy to be wrong!!! Sound is clean and super quiet!
After 20 years in the music business, I have owned and used about every name brand of mixer. I just bought the UB 1832 FX-Pro to replace a large mixer we had for our big band. This mixer has many options on it, and they all work VERY well. The channel EQs are very musical, and the board have a very warm sound. NOT the GLASSY sound you get with many of the new boards. I would recommend this mixer to anyone without hesitation. We gigged this already, and it's the best we have ever had, at any price. You can't get a bad Guitar sound with it. Same with the vocals. Synth sounds are great, as well. I have been known to buy gear, use it once, and get rid of it if I hate it. This piece of gear is staying with us, and based on it, I want to try more Behringer gear as it must be great also. I would challenge any mixer that costs up to 4X the cost of this board. THEY WOULD LOSE. It's that good. I can't wait to record with it!!
I've had this mixer for about 2 years and it really works. Contradictory to what many people say, Behringer puts TONS of quality into this little guy, and same with the other mixers they make. Every channel has good control and the knobs and faders don't wear out even after 1000+ hours of use from me and people who don't know the value of mixing boards.HOWEVER, If you are POSITIVE that you'll upgrade, DO NOT buy this mixer!! It has a hard time re-selling because everyone is gonna go for a big one. But this mixer is good if you're gonna use it to just record your small projects. But if you're gonna rent out your sevices or record bands of 3 or more people, BUY A BIGGER ONE!!!! Take it for someone who owns it.
The little mixer to be had for small sound systems - everything you need in one package!
