Comments about Behringer HPS5000 Closed-Type Studio Headphones:

This headphone needs a few hours of "breaking in" before you get clear undistorted bass. Out of the box, the bass is distorted even at mid volume. After breaking it in for a few hours for about 3 days, overall sound is really good.

Comments about Behringer HPS5000 Closed-Type Studio Headphones:

I was compelled to write a review after I bought these as they are the worst headphones I've tried, maybe ever. They were the only option in this price range at a local music store, so I bought them because I was in a hurry. Waste of money! They sound terrible! They are muddy with almost no high end and no clarity anywhere in the mix. There are so many better options in this price range. I just bought 2 pairs of Sennheiser HD 201 cans at the same price range and they beat the pants off these in every category; sound, comfort, and style. The Sennheisers don't sound fantastic (try their HD280s for better results), but way more detailed and useable for extras around the studio. These are Behringers are just total mud, and they squeeze your head and feel totally uncomfortable after 5 minutes of use. You have been warned.
