        An ultra-lightweight, high-density 3000-watt power amplifier.

The iNUKE NU3000, like the rest of the iNUKE Series power amplifiers, packs massive amounts of output power into an exceptionally lightweight, rackmountable package. Behringer's revolutionary high-density Class-D technology combined with ultra-efficient switch-mode power supplies ensures this feather-light powerhouse will drive your rig effortlessly for many years to come.

        Superb transient response
Behringer spent years fine-tuning the high-density Class-D technology that gives the iNUKE Series its oomph. By carefully selecting transistors with extremely high slew rates and optimizing other proprietary parts of the circuitry, this amp reacts instantly to even the most demanding electronic bass impulses.

When this amazing amplifier technology is combined with Behringer's state-of-the-art switching-mode power supplies, this amplifiers= provides tremendous punch. And, because it is so much more efficient than conventional designs, it runs cooler and doesn’t require the massive heat sinks and heavy toroid transformers typically associated with other conventional counterparts.

        Sublimely simple operation
The front panel controls and indicators provide your system’s vital signs at a glance. After pressing the Power button, the Power LED lights to show the amp is ready for action. All channels feature positive-detent Gain controls with Signal LEDs that light when a signal is present, as well as clip LEDs to indicate when the signal is distorted and you need to reduce the input signal.

The rear panel is just as elegant, with combo XLR and 1/4" TRS input connectors making the iNUKE NU3000 compatible with virtually any source, balanced or unbalanced. Professional twist-lock speaker sockets are provided to ensure every drop of output power gets to your loudspeakers. The rear panel is also where you’ll find the switches that enable iNUKE amps to work in either dual mono, stereo or mono bridge mode. A built-in CROSSOVER switch enables the amp to operate in bi-amp mode, sending low frequency content to passive subwoofers, while the high-frequency output is channeled to full-range loudspeakers (CH1>100 Hz / CH2<100 Hz or FULLRANGE). Flick the LIMITER ON/OFF switch to activate the built-in overload protection, or turn it off if you’re feeling lucky.

        Value
Sporting massive output ratings, lightweight Class-D technology, an equally lightweight price tag, and all the amenities a professional audio engineer could ask for, the BEHRINGER iNUKE NU3000 amp is a serious amps for the most demanding applications.

Just being stingy/conservative. Outside of carbon-fiber, I don't know if you could make it simultaneouly light and stronger.
I bought one of these about 7 months ago to replace a Crown 20002XTi which I bought to replace a Carvin DCM monitor amp. I wanted the DSP because it seems to be impossible to buy a "monitor" power amp with eq, like the Carvin amp had. The Crown didn't work out---only XLR inputs (not good for accepting Monitor/Aux Send signals), and the DSP could only be adjusted via computer (with the USB located inconveniently in the rear). I tried the iNuke and, even without the DSP, loud and noiseless. I replaced the FOH poweramp (again, a Carvin) with a second unit. Loud, clear and noiseless---we cranked the amps to max and no hiss! I have some other Behringer Class-D stuff and none of it has failed. Some have said that power ratings are hyped---maybe so, but the iNuke3000 is easily louder than the Carvin DCM1200 and DCM1000 it replaced, and easily louder than the XTi2002, for less $$$. Oh, did I mention that 65 lb of Carvin is now only about 16 lb of Behringer? They sound fine and have useful DSP features, accessible from the front panel. I no longer need to use my EV XP200a system controller with my EV speakers because I can set slope filters in the iNukes to prevent over-excursion of full-range woofers and more accurately controll the subs. The dynamic eq option is another neat feature. All in all, they iNukes have simplified setup and transport with increased output capabilities---and with discounts-specials-coupons, all at bargain prices.

Of course, I'm old-school power amps (my VHT is worth carrying every sweatty pound), so I keep my fingers crossed---but, over the years, I've had either inherent or operator-induced failures from Carvin, Peavey, QSC, Yamaha and Mackie (as far back as Phase Linear and Marrantz)! So, with racking and normal care and operation---we'll see.

The included "manual" sucks---like the rest of the current crop of Behringer m"manuals", it's a multilinguallly confusing mess of a quick-start guide. Have a highlighter handy. The promised "technical manual" is yet to materialize. Download and run the free iNuke DSP software, even if you're not connected to an amp---it will show you and let you play with the options, features and parameters that are available on the amp. It will make a learning how to set things from the front panel of the amp a little more comprehensible.
Plastic fascia, so it lives in a SKB rack, tapped into an ISObar power conditioner. The sun at a couple of outside gigs didn't melt it or hinder it's operation. 7 months of trouble-free operation so far. Software is small (a good thing), intuitive, and quick---for PC. I don't know about Apple. A phone app would be killer.
Price/weight, price/power, price/sound/ and price/noise ratios are all just great. If the dependability is there, these things will be all over the place.

Comments about Behringer iNUKE NU3000 Power Amp:

I purchased this amp to power my sub woofers. I run mono subs.

With 2 cabinets each with 18" drivers @ 8 ohms when run parallel you get a 4 ohm total. The amp will produce 3,000 watts bridged mono @ 4 ohms.

I used it for the first time at a gig and the subs were THUMPING! The amp ran cool all night long and there was zero distortion. I had plenty of headroom as opposed to the old Peavey CS800x that this amp replaced.

This was a level 3 used amp and the problems were all cosmetic. It has scratch on the case (big deal) and a bent rack mount tab which I fixed with a pair of pliers.

The class D amp is VERY quiet producing almost NO white noise at idle.

Many people speak ill of Behringer products but this amp is well worth the money.

Comments about Behringer iNUKE NU3000 Power Amp:

I've been using this amp for 6 months now, and I am very pleased with my purchase!

I run 2x Behringer 18" VP1800S Subs. I use the amp in bridge mode with an external crossover. The amp will not run in bridge mode with the internal crossover. For whatever reason, it doesn't work in bridge mode. (see my review below)

If you are thinking about getting the iNuke NU6000 to push your speakers harder, here's my opinion. That amp is really just 2 3000 watt amps that cannot be bridged. Yes, you heard that right, it can't be bridged. But if you are running 4x sub, the 6000 will be great, because you are still pushing out 3000 watts per side at 4 ohms. Just a word to the wise.

It's a great amp for my application, and if yours is similar, you will love this amp to!

Comments about Behringer iNUKE NU3000 Power Amp:

I bought this to start replacing my old heavy's I have. Run a straight forward DJ show just to break in and see if it got hot. I ran 4 ohms per side and ended up pushing till they were just bumping the clip lights....amazzing thing after all that no heat none totally strange to me but love it. The light wieght is a back saver for sure.I seem to get a feel for some reason that it just did not put out as much as the ep-2500's in the rack but what it put out was clean. This week end I am going to run it on one side of the subs with an ep-2500 on the other set of subs both to 4 ohms bridged crossed over at 120 or so depending on how the room kicks. So far Class D amps are the BOMB!!!! I expect not much of an issue. I know some folks hate behringer but they seem to hold up for me and sound good. Just don't over drive them at all if you need more power add more amps and keep the signal clean.

Comments about Behringer iNUKE NU3000 Power Amp:

I am quite surprised how well this unit works. Running through a pair of SoundTech speakers, they sound pretty good. Even at quieter volumes, the dynamics of the sound is decent. I have read reviews that these have died on folks, so I made sure to buy the 3000 model instead of the 1000 so I could run the volume knob at 40% all the time. I didn't need the DSP, so can't comment on how well that works. If this unit doesn't die quickly, it will truly be a 5 star product.

I really don't think Behringer made this. Don't mean to knock them, but they aren't exactly great quality all the time. I'm holding my breath....

Comments about Behringer iNUKE NU3000 Power Amp:

The NU3000 is a 7 Lb. powerhouse. But I am reluctant to use the Bridge mode since the Quick Start guide has no specific instructions and the (non-DSP) Full Manual can't be found or downloaded from Behringer.com. I don't know if the 4-ohm Bridge spec means you're supposed to run two 8-ohm speakers to both A & B outputs, or run them parallel from A or B (which one?). The "1+ 2+" printed on the back is insufficient.
This amp requires twist-on (Neutrik/SpeakON) cables which apparently have 4 connectors each, even though my PA speakers just have 1/4" TS jacks. Is there a special SpeakON connector to run Bridge mode?
Perhaps Musician's Friend can make the Full Manual available on the NU3000 Product page.
                ---------------------
Cons: The fan is medium loud, so keep studio mics away and don't block airflow from the back. The handles and controls jut out so whatever's in the rack just below the NU3000 may be obstructed.
Criticisms aside, this baby rocks! It has more than enough power for the big parties I play.

Comments about Behringer iNUKE NU3000 Power Amp:

Ok, I'll get this out of the way first. The crossover does not work in bridge mode. I bought this unit to run 2x 18" subs, so obviously I want to run it in bridge mode with the crossover. I have talked to Behringer on the phone and through emails, as well as with the MF tech support. Everyone is telling me that the crossover will not work in bridge for whatever reason. Needless to say, I've had to invest in a crossover. Moving on.

After being able to run the correct signal through it, I have noticed that it clips a little early for my application. I am having to turn the amp up 3/4 of the way just to get the sound that I want. I am using 2x 18" behringer subs that rms at 400 watts and peak at 1600 watts at 8 ohms. I am running the amp in bridge mode and sending the signal to the first sub, and then daisy chaining to the second. In theory, this amp should have plenty of power to push the subs. The sound isn't weak by any means, but I was hoping that it would blow me out of the water.

My buddy owns 2x of the EV 18" subs with a crown xls2500 amp. I would like to tell you that his sounded better and louder, but the behringers were just too powerful and punchy for the EV's to keep up. It was a happy day!

I have not run this amp with my top speakers yet, but plan on doing so in the near future. If you are buying for a subwoofer application, I would say spend the extra money and go for the 6000, but this amp will handle your load if you are a band or small dj. I dj every week, 3 times a week, and it has kept up with my high demand for powerful sound.

I DJ for small bars, medium sized venues and large halls. For the larger halls, I just pray that everything will work out haha. But for the other venues and bars, everything is perfect!

This amp does what it should do, with the exception of the crossover in bridge mode. I have always been pleased with behringer products and I look forward to purchasing more in the future!

Comments about Behringer iNUKE NU3000 Power Amp:

I have owned the iNuke 3000 for a few months. I started using it to drive 4 wedge monitors to be sure it didn't give us any problems. The last 3 gigs I used it to drive the front speakers. So far it is doing well and giving us no problems. It is quiet, powerful, and, makes my rack lighter to carry. I have run this in both mono and stereo mode with a 4 ohm per side load. I am seriously considering buying a second one to save my back from the weight of a conventional power amp.

Comments about Behringer iNUKE NU3000 Power Amp:

I had doubts about an amp being so light being able to sound good. I'd been using a QSC for 6 years. Never thought a Behringer amp could compete, but I actually like the sound better. I notice a warmer sound on vocals. I run a full band sound though it that I create via midi arranger keyboard and backng vocals. It handles the reproduction perfectly.
