OVERVIEW

The iNUKE NU3000, like the rest of the iNUKE Series power amplifiers, packs massive amounts of output power into an exceptionally lightweight, rackmountable package. Behringer's revolutionary high-density Class-D technology combined with ultra-efficient switch-mode power supplies ensures this feather-light powerhouse will drive your rig effortlessly for many years to come.

Superb transient response
Behringer spent years fine-tuning the high-density Class-D technology that gives the iNUKE Series its oomph. By carefully selecting transistors with extremely high slew rates and optimizing other proprietary parts of the circuitry, this amp reacts instantly to even the most demanding electronic bass impulses.

When this amazing amplifier technology is combined with Behringer's state-of-the-art switching-mode power supplies, this amplifiers= provides tremendous punch. And, because it is so much more efficient than conventional designs, it runs cooler and doesn't require the massive heat sinks and heavy toroid transformers typically associated with other conventional counterparts.

Sublimely simple operation
The front panel controls and indicators provide your system's vital signs at a glance. After pressing the Power button, the Power LED lights to show the amp is ready for action. All channels feature positive-detent Gain controls with Signal LEDs that light when a signal is present, as well as clip LEDs to indicate when the signal is distorted and you need to reduce the input signal.

The rear panel is just as elegant, with combo XLR and 1/4" TRS input connectors making the iNUKE NU3000 compatible with virtually any source, balanced or unbalanced. Professional twist-lock speaker sockets are provided to ensure every drop of output power gets to your loudspeakers. The rear panel is also where you'll find the switches that enable iNUKE amps to work in either dual mono, stereo or mono bridge mode. A built-in CROSSOVER switch enables the amp to operate in bi-amp mode, sending low frequency content to passive subwoofers, while the high-frequency output is channeled to full-range loudspeakers (CH1>100 Hz / CH2<100 Hz or FULLRANGE). Flick the LIMITER ON/OFF switch to activate the built-in overload protection, or turn it off if you're feeling lucky.

Value
Sporting massive output ratings, lightweight Class-D technology, an equally lightweight price tag, and all the amenities a professional audio engineer could ask for, the BEHRINGER iNUKE NU3000 amp is a serious amps for the most demanding applications.

An ultra-lightweight, high-density 3000-watt power amplifier.

Just being stingy/conservative. Outside of carbon-fiber, I don't know if you could make it simultaneouly light and stronger.
I bought one of these about 7 months ago to replace a Crown 20002XTi which I bought to replace a Carvin DCM monitor amp. I wanted the DSP because it seems to be impossible to buy a "monitor" power amp with eq, like the Carvin amp had. The Crown didn't work out---only XLR inputs (not good for accepting Monitor/Aux Send signals), and the DSP could only be adjusted via computer (with the USB located inconveniently in the rear). I tried the iNuke and, even without the DSP, loud and noiseless. I replaced the FOH poweramp (again, a Carvin) with a second unit. Loud, clear and noiseless---we cranked the amps to max and no hiss! I have some other Behringer Class-D stuff and none of it has failed. Some have said that power ratings are hyped---maybe so, but the iNuke3000 is easily louder than the Carvin DCM1200 and DCM1000 it replaced, and easily louder than the XTi2002, for less $$$. Oh, did I mention that 65 lb of Carvin is now only about 16 lb of Behringer? They sound fine and have useful DSP features, accessible from the front panel. I no longer need to use my EV XP200a system controller with my EV speakers because I can set slope filters in the iNukes to prevent over-excursion of full-range woofers and more accurately controll the subs. The dynamic eq option is another neat feature. All in all, they iNukes have simplified setup and transport with increased output capabilities---and with discounts-specials-coupons, all at bargain prices.

Of course, I'm old-school power amps (my VHT is worth carrying every sweatty pound), so I keep my fingers crossed---but, over the years, I've had either inherent or operator-induced failures from Carvin, Peavey, QSC, Yamaha and Mackie (as far back as Phase Linear and Marrantz)! So, with racking and normal care and operation---we'll see.

The included "manual" sucks---like the rest of the current crop of Behringer m"manuals", it's a multilinguallly confusing mess of a quick-start guide. Have a highlighter handy. The promised "technical manual" is yet to materialize. Download and run the free iNuke DSP software, even if you're not connected to an amp---it will show you and let you play with the options, features and parameters that are available on the amp. It will make a learning how to set things from the front panel of the amp a little more comprehensible.
Plastic fascia, so it lives in a SKB rack, tapped into an ISObar power conditioner. The sun at a couple of outside gigs didn't melt it or hinder it's operation. 7 months of trouble-free operation so far. Software is small (a good thing), intuitive, and quick---for PC. I don't know about Apple. A phone app would be killer.
Price/weight, price/power, price/sound/ and price/noise ratios are all just great. If the dependability is there, these things will be all over the place.

They stil need to figure out how to make the life on them good
I got a new one took it out of box after everyone told me not to get it that this brand doesnt last n I did anyways. So put it in my rack and hooked it up it sounded good and everyones said man i am suprized they are way better then what they use to be and we was playing n 20min later it goes out. We all looked at eack other yea they are still the same like years ago work for a few and stop. So i wouldnt waste my money i would spend alittle more and get a good one orless you can buy a lot of them for extras for backup or you will be stuck in a few min. Of a show
Sound good for a few min. Until they go out
Wouldnt waste my money again wish i could grt my money back for my new that i got to use for20min.

Comments about Behringer iNUKE NU3000 Power Amp:

This is my second iNuke amp. I have a 6000 watt as a main amp. This 3000 watt is more for the home studio. These amps are incredible. They are lightweight and the cooling fans are extremely quiet. Although I have had the 3000 watt amp only a short time, I am sure it will be as reliable as the 6000 I use for events. These iNuke amps really perform well...

Comments about Behringer iNUKE NU3000 Power Amp:

I was fully aware of possible issues with Behringer products, but tried this power amp anyway. Predominantly good reviews with the occasional report of DOA or short lived function. It will only get hard use once a year for a private function so I took a chance. Guess what? One channel DOA. I purchased extended warranty. Had to call two or three times to get MF to pay return shipping and not have to go through the 3rd party warranty company. Mostly confusion on a seasonal employees part I believe. Once understood it should be returned under their 45 day return policy no problems. Returned it and fully functional replacement was shipped promptly. Incredible value if this one holds up. My sense from reviews is they usually do, but you have to understand the nature of QC with Behringer. That's why I purchased the extended warranty. I can now drop the thing or spill a beer in it and still get a replacement. At this point VERY happy with the purchase. Recording mates fellow musicians are happy too. Would have been 5 stars w/o the DOA. Thanks MF for something I could have easily paid 3 or 4 more times the price.

I use this for my studio and power (4) 12" woofers, (2) mid and (2) tweeters along with (2) 18" floor subwoofers. IMy only suggestion is to have an equalizer to go along so you can adjust the sound more.

The NU 3000 is a nice amp. Can't get over how light it is. But so far very quiet, smooth quiet continuous power, and very affordable. Only time will tell how reliable it is. For the money it's a very good buy.

Comments about Behringer iNUKE NU3000 Power Amp:

Hard to give anything a five star without knowing it's longevity but based on the performance of my seven year old Behringer powered mixer, I think I'll get my $$$ worth. This amp provides a very clean sound for my practice / recording studio sound system. This thing will also go along for the ride as a back-up amp for live performances. You never know when something might fail so having a an easy to grab amp in the van provides piece of mind when away from home. One of the only times we have had an amp fail was on a sternwheeler in the middle of the Ohio River . . a worse case scenario for a band. Next time, this little amp will be onboard just in case!!

Comments about Behringer iNUKE NU3000 Power Amp:

Received with fast service from but packaging from MF was poor packing, was worried that other delicate items might have been damage from UPS, after careful inspection, all is well, could be pack better with more taping on outer box and more bubble wrap would secure my 21 lb.box. After unpacking and fine tuning my mixer to amp to speaker, wow, I was amazed of the light weight amp and performance it made to my pair of Peavey SP-2G's. I was thumping with no question of authority in the bottom end. Always got that classic SP-2G's sound. The weight was also a good thing when going to other events and setting up my rack mount system. Was a little skeptical from a Behringer product, but was surprise of it's performance out from the box, will be getting another iNuke NU3000 class D amp for my other SP-2G's stack.

Newer technologies like Class D and Class H amps offer lots of power but not so much weight. Great for when you get tired of lugging massive mass around.

Using them for bi-amp. Glad I got two at a time - I have one from a couple years ago and the back panel switches are different on the new ones. Remember to order the Neutrik/speak-on to 1/4 inch adapters if you need them for your speakers. SKU H89537 000000000

Comments about Behringer iNUKE NU3000 Power Amp:

I purchased this amp to power my sub woofers. I run mono subs.

With 2 cabinets each with 18" drivers @ 8 ohms when run parallel you get a 4 ohm total. The amp will produce 3,000 watts bridged mono @ 4 ohms.

I used it for the first time at a gig and the subs were THUMPING! The amp ran cool all night long and there was zero distortion. I had plenty of headroom as opposed to the old Peavey CS800x that this amp replaced.

This was a level 3 used amp and the problems were all cosmetic. It has scratch on the case (big deal) and a bent rack mount tab which I fixed with a pair of pliers.

The class D amp is VERY quiet producing almost NO white noise at idle.

Many people speak ill of Behringer products but this amp is well worth the money.
