So far, so good---and MUCH, MUCH lighter!
Just being stingy/conservative. Outside of carbon-fiber, I don't know if you could make it simultaneouly light and stronger.

Just being stingy/conservative. Outside of carbon-fiber, I don't know if you could make it simultaneouly light and stronger.
I bought one of these about 7 months ago to replace a Crown 20002XTi which I bought to replace a Carvin DCM monitor amp. I wanted the DSP because it seems to be impossible to buy a "monitor" power amp with eq, like the Carvin amp had. The Crown didn't work out---only XLR inputs (not good for accepting Monitor/Aux Send signals), and the DSP could only be adjusted via computer (with the USB located inconveniently in the rear). I tried the iNuke and, even without the DSP, loud and noiseless. I replaced the FOH poweramp (again, a Carvin) with a second unit. Loud, clear and noiseless---we cranked the amps to max and no hiss! I have some other Behringer Class-D stuff and none of it has failed. Some have said that power ratings are hyped---maybe so, but the iNuke3000 is easily louder than the Carvin DCM1200 and DCM1000 it replaced, and easily louder than the XTi2002, for less $$$. Oh, did I mention that 65 lb of Carvin is now only about 16 lb of Behringer? They sound fine and have useful DSP features, accessible from the front panel. I no longer need to use my EV XP200a system controller with my EV speakers because I can set slope filters in the iNukes to prevent over-excursion of full-range woofers and more accurately controll the subs. The dynamic eq option is another neat feature. All in all, they iNukes have simplified setup and transport with increased output capabilities---and with discounts-specials-coupons, all at bargain prices.
Of course, I'm old-school power amps (my VHT is worth carrying every sweatty pound), so I keep my fingers crossed---but, over the years, I've had either inherent or operator-induced failures from Carvin, Peavey, QSC, Yamaha and Mackie (as far back as Phase Linear and Marrantz)! So, with racking and normal care and operation---we'll see.
The included "manual" sucks---like the rest of the current crop of Behringer m"manuals", it's a multilinguallly confusing mess of a quick-start guide. Have a highlighter handy. The promised "technical manual" is yet to materialize. Download and run the free iNuke DSP software, even if you're not connected to an amp---it will show you and let you play with the options, features and parameters that are available on the amp. It will make a learning how to set things from the front panel of the amp a little more comprehensible.
Plastic fascia, so it lives in a SKB rack, tapped into an ISObar power conditioner. The sun at a couple of outside gigs didn't melt it or hinder it's operation. 7 months of trouble-free operation so far. Software is small (a good thing), intuitive, and quick---for PC. I don't know about Apple. A phone app would be killer.
Price/weight, price/power, price/sound/ and price/noise ratios are all just great. If the dependability is there, these things will be all over the place.

Comments about Behringer iNUKE NU3000 Power Amp:
This product delivers I have no issues I am impressed by how light it is. The fan is so quiet compared to my QSC and I love the orange accents and status light Just push the on button notice the lights go from a warm up color red to a nice orange eye candy. i like the button its a push not a flip to me it's more durable, bad experience with other type I do not have allot of cash but don't doubt this product. i am shocked. Have fun with this! Simple!

Comments about Behringer iNUKE NU3000 Power Amp:
Just arrived yesterday! Super light weight. Had it unboxed and hooked up in minutes. Great sound/headroom & punch. Put it through some tests with upper 1x15's ran in stereo, then ch1 to uppers & ch2 to 2x18 subs with the internal x-over; everything sounded Great!! I am very pleased with it so far and look forward to buying the NU6000 soon! My only complaint is the amount of amp material in front of the rack ears versus other models and wished they'd installed binding posts on the back as well, but overall, I'm happy with it!!

Comments about Behringer iNUKE NU3000 Power Amp:
I am worried about durability with every piece of gear I buy so time will tell. I bought this for the weight and a friend whose advice I trust told me he had no problems with them. It is light weight. It is powerful. I'm very happy so far. The sub out has eliminated the need of an external crossover in my 2-way setup. The price makes it even sweeter.

Comments about Behringer iNUKE NU3000 Power Amp:
I could be like the rest and say i wasn't expecting this kind of quality from this company but because I have perchased many behringer items I expect quality from them because that is always what i get. I have sold all my heavy amps( qsc 5500 75lb )and many others and am replacing them with these light weight amps. They sound fantastic with plenty of power and when it's time to lift the rack my friends don't disapear anymore, excelent. Thank you behringer. Heavy amp owners better sell before they are not worth anything, who wants to lift 50lb when you can have 7lb that does the same thing for less.

Comments about Behringer iNUKE NU3000 Power Amp:
This is an excellent amp esp. for the price. I purchased this for my personal sound show and used it for several hours at a time with NO problems whatsoever. Inside, outside, at full power and it never blinked. easy to use, and we are now purchasing 4 more to replace exsisting amps in a theatre. Well worth the money.
Comments about Behringer iNUKE NU3000 Power Amp:
We've been using this amp to run guitar, bass, and vocals through, and it's performed flawlessly. We run the main speakers off of channel 1 and monitors off channel 2, both in crossover mode. The volume knobs are set to about 10 o'clock which produces more than enough volume, At the lasthe last outdor gig we had turned up louder to send sound up and down the street to draw in people, and after an hour or so were asked to turn down. It was evening and the neighborhood near the gig was being affected. So, bottom line - pleant of power. As we don't really know how this amp will hold up, we did buy a 2nd one for backup in case of failure.
remains to be seen how the plastic front and light case will hold up to steady moving around
excellent value - good power with reasonable price

Comments about Behringer iNUKE NU3000 Power Amp:
Again, I use this to drive Floor Wedges (Two 8 ohm wedges per side; therefore a 4ohm load per side)...We generally drive JBL wedges (Mpro, MRX, etc)...Very clean....Plenty of Headroom....Both the Band I play in, Legacy By Right and my Sound Company,70x7Sound, have used this successfully....I may buy another...
Features work for me... Features are just what I need (XLR in and Speakon out); but for some this might be barebones.
So far so good...I use this 7 lb amp in a Floor Monitor role...I did not want to add weight or spend big bucks....Does the trick........(I own several Crown Xti 4000's , Crown Itechs 8000's and Stewart World 2100's)....My only concern might be the constant insertion of the Speakon cables into the lightweight back panel, but I take extra care here)....Since it is lightweight you cannot expect to compare it to one of those 20-30lb Amps for construction.
You can't beat the Overall Value of Cost-to-Weight-to-Power Out.
Comments about Behringer iNUKE NU3000 Power Amp:
People were stunned when Behringer purchased Klark Teknik/Midas...
Everyone thought "either Klark with go downhill or Behringer will be unstoppable." I think the latter is the case.
Now all said and done, if money weren't an issue...I would probably buy Crown or QSC. However, I live in the real world and not a hypothetical one. This is probably the best purchase I've every made when it comes to sound gear. I'm gonna buy 1 more of these and 2 of the 4 channel iNukes as soon as possible. I can't wait until the X32 is out.
It would be nice to have additional crossover options.
1st of all, the day I got these it was 100 plus degrees in August Missouri heat. I almost threw the box in the air, even though I knew they were so light from the website, it still suprised me how light they actually were. I immediately opened one amp. It was hot to the touch from sitting by my door in the sun where UPS placed it. I plugged it in, turned it on and in literally 30 seconds...it was cold. The weight and air flow design are amazing.
2nd, I have 5 of these in a rolling 14 space rack with a Behringer crossover and input/output patch panels. I was doing a gig at a casino/hotel in STL and had our gear on their loading dock. I went to get my van to load and when I returned, the rack had rolled over the edge and had dropped 5 feet off the dock. EVERY AMP STILL WORKS!
I normally order online. The day I called, the NU3000 were on special. I bought 5. 15,000 Watts. Would you consider that a good value?
