Lightweight, high-density 6000-watt power amplifier

The NU6000, part of the iNUKE series from Behringer, is an extremely lightweight and durable power amplifier that will fit comfortably into any standard 19” rack with the rest of your gear. The NU6000 has a “back-to-front” ventilation system and incorporates High-Density Class-D components with "near-zero" thermal build-up, which allows the unit to run cool and avoid the need for massive heat sinks. Each channel has their own independent DC, LF, and thermal overload components that will automatically protect the amplifier and speakers to avoid any damage to your system.

The exterior of the NU6000 is manufactured with a sturdy metal housing that secures all of the internal components. The rear panel of the NU6000 has XLR and TRS input connections, and also features professional twist-lock speaker outputs that provide versatile and secure connections for your system. There are 4-segment signal and limit LED’s on the front of the NU6000 that help you visually monitor performance levels. The VU6000 operates in stereo or dual-mono modes, and has a switch-mode power supply that provides noise-free audio with good transient response and low power consumption. The iNUKE series VU600 offers a durable and affordable power amplification solution for your sound system.

Comments about Behringer iNUKE NU6000 Power Amp:

Well, very impressed with the iNuke NU6000. I have logged about 20hrs in this amp an so far no problems. Im running it on a 4ohm load, volume knobs at about 70% since my spekers are only rated at 500RMS 1000Peak each where I'm running (4) 15'' speakers. I compared it side by side with my RMX2450 and my XTi4000 and I can honestly say this NU6000 can push more power than both of them individually. People just need to understand that having more power doesn't mean you can add more speakers. One needs to follow the spec recommendations. The only drawback was the limited options on your outputs but not really a issue. It does have a bulky front panel where it sits further out than my rmx and xti in my rack. Time will only tell the durability of the iNUKE Series of Amplifiers.

Comments about Behringer iNUKE NU6000 Power Amp:

These amps were used a few times; both stopped working in stereo and blew out one channel on our mixer; sent first to be repaired (FAIL - still would not work in stereo) Exchanged 2nd (No Good Out Of Box - Will not work in stereo)

          AVOID AT ALL COSTS
HIGH POWER + LOW COST = WASTE OF MONEY
YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR

We will be going up to Yamaha and/or Crown now

Comments about Behringer iNUKE NU6000 Power Amp:

I hate Behringer. That being said I bought a nu6000 just to try against my QSC pl380's. I had heard about them and thought it's cheap enough so why not. I used an identical set of EAW SB1000's (4ohm load per channel) and same source and a/b'd them in a side by side comparison. I was SHOCKED! Just below clipping the amps, the inuke's were 5 or 6 db louder and much punchier than the pl380's. Even got my smaart rig out to verify what my ears told me. I now have 4 nu6000's in my rack (on my subs) and no pl 380's. I guess only time will tell if they are durable.

Comments about Behringer iNUKE NU6000 Power Amp:

All I can say is WOW! Berhinger really out did them self on this product. This amplifier is very powerful and gives you that power you need to get the job done plus still have plenty of room to push more power if needed. My mains run 1000 watts rms and peak at 2000 watts a peace and a sub that runs at 550 watts rms and peaks at 1600 watts and it runs all of them at fall power with out coming close to peaking or in danger of cliping. I would recommend to make sure the venue or location you are planning on using it at has 30 amp breakers on there plug outlets and run your system on its own breaker with nothing else pulling power from it or you will be going back and forth to the breaker box often.

Comments about Behringer iNUKE NU6000 Power Amp:

We are a fairly Large Church, Once a year we host an event called "Praise in the Park" Where we rent the entire Waterfront park of Buffalo. We needed to power our Subwoofer array to create a power alley. These Amps delivered! We set them up to power 4 18" subs each at a 4 Ohm load rated at 2250 per side. These amps ran cool for 9 hrs. Never over heated even though we ran them just below maximum power. The only down side is that they pull a great deal of power. We had to give each amp it's own dedicated 20 amp line of power. If you want to run an amp farm your going to need at least one circuit per amp. In other words 8 amps = 8 circuits or dedicated outlets or you will find yourself flipping breakers back on. If you feed these amps clean power they WILL deliver Bone Crushing Bass.. The kind of bass that make your eyes, and internal organs wobble! Great Job!

                  So far So good

                  By John Diego

                  from California

Comments about Behringer iNUKE NU6000 Power Amp:

I bought these amps for the price and for the weight. They are very light, almost to the point of questioning if there is anything in them. I own a small live sound co. and wanted to give these a try at a show on this past St Patty's day. Anyway the gig was 2 bands who each played 4 hour sets with music playing between sets and on breakes. These amps were on for more than 12 hours straight. One amp was powering 2 Peavey SP2 speakers and the other was powering 2 Peavey SP218's. Not only did they perform very well I had so much headroom left it was crazy. These amps never got even a little warm or close to clipping. I know time will tell but a brutal start to theit life they past with flying colors. FYI, the amps replaced a Peavey CS4000 and CS2000 and sounded better and had much more headroom.
Very easy to set up and use.Pretty basic but that's what I look for in amps.
                  Built pretty well.
Price for the power is unmatched.
