      Lightweight, high-density 6000-watt power amplifier

The NU6000, part of the iNUKE series from Behringer, is an extremely lightweight and durable power amplifier that will fit comfortably into any standard 19” rack with the rest of your gear. The NU6000 has a “back-to-front” ventilation system and incorporates High-Density Class-D components with "near-zero" thermal build-up, which allows the unit to run cool and avoid the need for massive heat sinks. Each channel has their own independent DC, LF, and thermal overload components that will automatically protect the amplifier and speakers to avoid any damage to your system.

The exterior of the NU6000 is manufactured with a sturdy metal housing that secures all of the internal components. The rear panel of the NU6000 has XLR and TRS input connections, and also features professional twist-lock speaker outputs that provide versatile and secure connections for your system. There are 4-segment signal and limit LED’s on the front of the NU6000 that help you visually monitor performance levels. The NU6000 operates in stereo or dual-mono modes, and has a switch-mode power supply that provides noise-free audio with good transient response and low power consumption. The iNUKE series VU600 offers a durable and affordable power amplification solution for your sound system.

We are a fairly Large Church, Once a year we host an event called "Praise in the Park" Where we rent the entire Waterfront park of Buffalo. We needed to power our Subwoofer array to create a power alley. These Amps delivered! We set them up to power 4 18" subs each at a 4 Ohm load rated at 2250 per side. These amps ran cool for 9 hrs. Never over heated even though we ran them just below maximum power. The only down side is that they pull a great deal of power. We had to give each amp it's own dedicated 20 amp line of power. If you want to run an amp farm your going to need at least one circuit per amp. In other words 8 amps = 8 circuits or dedicated outlets or you will find yourself flipping breakers back on. If you feed these amps clean power they WILL deliver Bone Crushing Bass.. The kind of bass that make your eyes, and internal organs wobble! Great Job!

Comments about Behringer iNUKE NU6000 Power Amp:

I recently purchased this amp and a smaller iNuke 3000 to power my P.A. system. I run 2 18" sub woofers in mono bridge mode and 2 x 4 ohm full range cabinets each containing 2 x 15" 2 x 6" and an HF driver.

I'm running the 3000 at full throttle and the 6000 at 70%.

There was all but zero white noise at idle (you have to get right up to the mains and listen for it)and the sound was clean.

After a 3 hour gig the fans were blowing COLD air!

At just 12 lbs these amps are very easy to carry. They replaced old Peavey CS800X amps which weigh 48 lbs each. My rack went from 104 lbs down to 30 lbs and my bandmates were thanking me for the reduced weight.

My total output went from 2400 watts with the CS amps up to 9000 watts with the iNukes! We play small to medium venues and a few small outdoor gigs (carnivals, block parties, pig roasts, picnics) and although the old amps did an adequate job, I didn't have much headroom left. With the iNukes I had PLENTY of headroom.

The sound is clean and clear with no discernable distortion.

You could spend a small fortune for "better quality" brands like Crown, QSC or Yamaha or get these and have some $$$ left for other gear. If you don't try and push an amp past its capabilities you WILL get clean results. I suspect those who say Behringer products are sloppy are trying to do just that.

Get amps bigger than you need and run them at part throttle to get a clean result. For the price you can't go wrong with these light, powerful class D amps.

I have 4 NU6000 and 2 NU4 6000 I have used these on several shows in different variations. I just got done running a big show using only 2 NU6000 and 1 NU4 6000 to power up 16 16ohm biamp line array cabs, prossessed through 1 DBX driverack pro. These never clipped and ran cool. The low damping factor of these amps delivered a clear sound with only 30 amps of consumption. Nice job on these amps and looking forward to the NU12000 coming soon.

I have only had it for 4 gigs, but it has worked perfectly and has easily already paid for itself! It runs so cool all night it is unbelievable! I am using it to power 2 sp218 cabinets. Plenty of power!!
I can't speak for the durability of this amp, but I have used two EP2500 amps for about 4 years now, and they have never let me down. I used them in bridge mode to push two Peavey Sp218 cabs. I used them for a minimum of 100 shows each year, and never a single problem.
As far as others complaining about fan noise... In a silent room it is hardly noticeable, in a club with 2 or more people talking you would never even know it was there! Buy it, and enjoy it!

Comments about Behringer iNUKE NU6000 Power Amp:

very lightweight amp, very loud, and very affordable. its kinda cheesy looking and the front controls stick out a bit further than my other stuff is the only drawback i have noticed so far. i would definitely purchase another if i had the need, but i play in smaller bars and this thing has plenty of vol for those places. I'm powering two passive peavey pv215 enclosures with it. Sounds real good! great purchase.....not sure of the long term tho..seems sturdy enough..no idea how long the electronics will last tho.

This amp pounded my subs all day long on a hot summers day in Ranger, West Virginia. My subs are JBL SR4715 And it had no problem keeping them going. No fallout. No nothing. Just to be safe, I placed it on its own dedicated circuit. No problems whatsoever. One satisfied customer.

Comments about Behringer iNUKE NU6000 Power Amp:

Well, very impressed with the iNuke NU6000. I have logged about 20hrs in this amp an so far no problems. Im running it on a 4ohm load, volume knobs at about 70% since my spekers are only rated at 500RMS 1000Peak each where I'm running (4) 15'' speakers. I compared it side by side with my RMX2450 and my XTi4000 and I can honestly say this NU6000 can push more power than both of them individually. People just need to understand that having more power doesn't mean you can add more speakers. One needs to follow the spec recommendations. The only drawback was the limited options on your outputs but not really a issue. It does have a bulky front panel where it sits further out than my rmx and xti in my rack. Time will only tell the durability of the iNUKE Series of Amplifiers.
