Comments about Behringer iNUKE NU6000DSP:
This is the second NU6000DSP I purchased from MF. The first was meant to be a back-up amp for a Peavey IPR5000. Due to the IPR's unavailablity, the NU6000 has become primary. Now that I have two, I might not even buy an IPR5000 whenever they are released. If I do buy one, it better blow me away. Else I will send it back and stick with the NU6000.
The NU6000 is the first and only class D, DSP power amp I have operated. I really like the software (available at Behringer's website).
I know folks like to knock Behringer. And I have done it in the past myself. I have only operated a hand full of their products. I have had some trouble with them in the past. But, I have never had a Behringer product that critically failed. I am still a bit cautious. Even with that said, here are some things to consider about this particular piece of gear:
-They have been on the market for a couple of years now, and I have never read of a single case of failure.
-The NU6000 is in high-enough demand that MF had to put them on back order (April 2013)
-As of May 2013, I have never come across a used one on ebay. That tells me that people are buying them, and they don't want to give them up!

Comments about Behringer iNUKE NU6000DSP:
I TOTALLY LOVE THIS AMP!!! Awfully powerful and easy to use. I've used the crossover for 2 full range 15s and 2 subwoofers and worked great!! Used an nu6000 on a Chtistian service on a basketball court and I was amazed at the power I got using only channel A with two 2,000w 15in speakers. The price and the lightness (only 11lbs) make it a jewel. Couldn't ask for more.

Comments about Behringer iNUKE NU6000DSP:
This pwr amp was not my first choice, but due to budget and availability, it ended up fitting the bill.
I like the DSP features.
I expected the software to autoload when I hooked it up to my laptop. Not the case. But with some digging around on Behringer's website, I was able to find the software and begin setting up profiles on the unit. I have three profiles I use that differ in EQ, and crossover settings. And these features really work too. And they can be adjusted on the fly. I noticed a major difference in the performance of my sub (Peavey SP118) when I setup the band pass filters with Peavey's recommended freq., filter type, and slope for sub.
I play in a four piece, a two piece, and I also DJ. I currently have four stored profiles on the unit that can be easily accessed from the face. Although it is easy to change from one profile to another via the face, it is difficult to modify a specific profile from the face. I found I needed the computer for that. I spent about 10 mins. trying to figure out how to set low and and high pass filters from the face, then gave up and used the computer.
As far as the sound, I am pretty happy with it. This unit is the only "bargain-brand" in my FOH system. It is fed by an Allen & Heath ZED 22FX, and powers two SP 5s and an SP 118.

Comments about Behringer iNUKE NU6000DSP:
i've used lots of power amps including crest, crown, qsc, peavey, lsa etc and i bought a crown xls 2500 to power my 2 jbl dual 18 subs and it wasn't enough power and the ohms weren't matched up to my subs. I'm not saying crown is bad but didn't work for my application. I bought the behringer inuke 6000 dsp and it powered my subs nicely and i have headroom too. we'll see if it's reliable over the long run but so far i would recommend these power amps for lightweight affordable power. i like the speakon outputs ( not a fan of banana jacks) and the trs inputs are nice too for xlr or 1/4 inputs.
Comments about Behringer iNUKE NU6000DSP:
Overall I would reccomend this amp to anyone, I have been a behringer fan for years. I have never had any problems wtih anything i have gotten from them and so far this amp has performed flawlessly
The DSP in this unit really makes things sound great.
This unit is built well, very light and has a ton of power
It isnt the cheapest amp they make, not by a long shot. but for the price there is plenty of power
