2 high-power amplifiers drive the 4'' woofers and the high-resolution tweeters. The front-mounted volume control and individual bass and treble controls make accurate sound adjustments a breeze.
2 stereo line inputs (RCA and 1/8'' TRS) allow simultaneous use of 2 stereo sources, so you can play back CDs, MDs or MP3s and use an electric guitar/keyboard at the same time. In addition, the 1/4'' TRS microphone input lets you mix vocals with a stereo track.

I can't see why people were complaining there was no bass response when I first set them up I had them on my coffee table and a cup of water on a coaster, the bass was so loud and just on an apple loop that it was vibrating the water. If you can EQ it yourself (granted it takes a while) then you should be fine. This is a great start to a studio and you won't be dissapointed. Don't use it one time like these people have and say oh it has no sound or bass, because I turned the volume up rolled the bass about 5 and the trebles from 5-8 and it sounded just like the models were supposed to so I can't complain, hope it helps, it's a good price point for a good quality piece of studio equipment.
It has everything you need, i was even surprised when it came with the cables to hook it up to my Macbook. I figured I would have to spend more money to get the right cables, so I was greatly appreciative. I wanted a good set of speakers to record and monitor through Logic Pro becuase the labtop speakers were just not very good at all. Get both stereo speakers, two mixed inputs (say computer and Ipod) and it has dedicated EQ and volume on the unit which is a plus.
They are friggin heavy!! Way more than I expected, German's have always made good speakers and these are no exception, big heavy magnets and a great build quality, no complaints so far.
Awesome, all I needed was a little more punch to monitor my bass response on the songs I'm working on and make sure the EQ was right where I wanted it to be. I was surprised when it inspired me to do even more and I was able to tweak the EQ to exactly where I wanted it, so to me it did everything I asked it to and more, it gets loud, really loud and the cool thing is if your playing say the drums and bass as a loop, then they come more out of the right speaker and the mids (guitar) that I'm playing comes out fo the left. Everything is clear and easy to hear it's perfect, I can't imagine any more expensive one doing more.

They are inexpensive speakers, what did I expect? I'll admit I was disappointed by the lack of bass response, but others have mentioned it, so I should have been ready for that. These are basically plastic computer speakers, so if you're looking for more than that, do a little more shopping.

Very good value. For their size: strong bass, clean highs, balanced mid-range. If using with a computer you have to know how to adjust your computer settings to "external speakers" to get the correct sound. I have no complaints and would buy these again for my uses: boosting my computer's sound, mixing a high-quality amateur album, listening to my mp3 player. There is some background hiss from the power source, but I don't notice it once the music plays.

Before purchasing i read the reviews and noticed a few bad comments concerning bass response.I mainly record Reggae,dub and ska. I am not having a problem with bass and those are bass heavy genres. They are clear and tight sounding ,weather i am using bass guitar or synth generated bass sounds ,these speakers can handle it!!
For the cost versus quality, i would endorse these as a great addition to any home studio setup.

I travel on business a lot. I needed a small, light, quality, sound system to attach to my computer to watch netflix movies, to listen to web casts, and to attach to my I pod while I'm in a hotel room. This is perfect. I have plenty of bigger, heavier, better quality sound equipment at home...but that won't fit in my suitcase.

Wouldn't be my only pair of monitors, but a great second set for reference, djing, or for impromptu laptop setups.
This had all of the features I was personally looking for. I currently have 2 krk rp8's and wanted something smaller to reference with and also put directly over my decks so I can mix late without having to wake the neighbors up.
It's ok. The weight of the left speaker is extermely light (sans power), so it gives you an idea of the size magnet used. The sound is quite flat though.
Great for my needs.

Terrible sound quality and build quality. Awful. NOT worth the money. Buy another set of monitors, any other set, but not this set. Garbage. Sometimes Behringer gets it right. This is not one of those times.

these are really good monitors, especially for the price! The only thing i am not a huge fan of is the bass...the kick isnt that great, but the sound is awesome!! i recommend!

i have had these over a yaer and they are great. they put out quite a bit of sound for their size. i record with these and when i playback they sound great. i dont have to use other sources to hear my music right anymore these work perfect. they are also great for the money so if you need something simple, easy, and good quality i totally recommend these for sure.
