Due to space requirements, it was important to find a mixer that had 4 band EQ, at leats 2/4 auxsends for stage, direct outs, and expandability.Cost was also a key. There was nothing else at this price range.
It surpised not only my friends and I in our local band.. but also a local sound engineer that came to watch one of our gigs. He thought we bought a **** board about 3 times the price! Alot of headroom, which our drummer loved. EQ was tight and dead on. Board is very easy ot use and run, even if you have a not so experienced sound guy.
Though it has all the necessary functions, overall, I'm a little disappointed. The aux sections bleed a lot into other aux. Phone jack is terrible... it's always a struggle to get it in and out. Most of the time you only hear it in one side. Feedback is terrible even with an EQ or "feedback" destroyer. Though price is good, quality sucks. I returned back one unit. This second one has exactly the same problems. If you want quality, don't get it. If you just want a fully functional mixer for a full band, then go for it.
