Route your balanced gear and switch modes without having to disconnect cables and flip circuit boards!

The Behringer PX3000 Ultrapatch Pro provides an easy solution to route up to 48 mono/24 stereo units. This 48-point patchbay is fully balanced with high-quality TRS jacks, which keeps your system free of noise and AC hum. It has 3 modes including Normal, Thru, and Half Normal, and the best part is that you can change modes via switches on the top side of the unit -- no more removing the patchbay, disconnecting cables, and flipping I/O circuit boards!

      Three modes:
Normal interconnects the 2 rear jacks of one channel, and inserting a plug into one of the front jacks interrupts the connection of the rear jacks. THRU interconnects each rear jack with its corresponding front jack. HALF NORMAL interconnects the 2 rear jacks of one channel, and inserting a plug into the lower front jack interrupts the connection of the rear jacks.

      Features

      • 48-point balanced patchbay
      • High-quality TRS jacks

Finally, a balanced patchbay that eliminates console- or rack-diving. Order the PX3000 today.

Most of my experience came from doing live sound in a mobile setting. So this is the first time I have to use a patchbay to re-route the mic lines to a new mixer while keeping the connection to the old mixer easy to restore in a permenent setting. PX3000 is definitely easy to use and easy to set up. The graphics instructions on top is easy to understand.

I have read a lot on the web comparing PX3000 to Samson and Neutirk's similar products. In the end I choose this because the big price difference, and I am only buying one right now (but more to come). So in the end I choose the cheapest one because that's all I needed. It functioned as described so no complaint there.

The only thing I have a small concern with is how the plug is seated sometimes. On one set of A and B ports up front the final seating position is not quite all the way in. So in effect it "feels" as if the plug is not plugged all the way in. If you push it a bit it will push in all the way, but then it will get pushed back, most likely because it is extended past the designed length. This probably has to do with the front metal plate's design demision. But no effect on the function itself (at least not on my unit).

I would recommend this if you are doing home studio and just using it for hobby. However, if you are using it in a professional recording, or some live events (such as worship, event hall), I would recommend you spend a little bit more for the Neutrik version. It makes very tight connections. It might be difficult to pull it out but it makes one solid connection.

One year ago, I decided to move up from unbalanced to balanced, and bought this patchbay as I was very happy with Behringer's unbalanced product. I was a big Behringer fan, as I think they USED to deliver great features for the money. But, this one is just not doing the job. the contacts get oxydized quickly, the little swithes to canhge the rouing have bad contacts. As a result, I end up umplugging/plugging back in every month or so since I loos the contacts, have ground loops, etc. As it is most likely that you'll have to buy a real patchbay (the dbx or the Neutrik) as I just did, make yourself a favor: go for the good quality right away and forget about the Behringer PX3000!

Make wiring the home studio a breeze. This is my second PX3000 Pro Patchbay. The first was a solid work horse. When I saw the price, I bought a second immediately 'cause you can never have too many access points to features on the rear of gear,

      Go Behringer

Comments about Behringer PX3000 Ultrapatch Pro Patchbay:

I have had this item for 6 years and no noise, no loss of signal, no oxidation problems, switches work perfectly etc...Try using good cables and SUPPORT them so they do not pull and distort (bend) the connectors inside. Many people with home studios have complaints but fail to recognize heavy cables that hang and sag cause problems...I use Behringer because they are reasonable in price but more because they have been reliable.

NOISY, NOISY, NOISY. By far the weakest link in your signal chain. NOT even worth the $ it sells for. Please save your $$ and get a pro piece like DBX. Remember, you get what you pay for when it comes to signal. I'm selling this thing asap.

      Great Patchbay

Comments about Behringer PX3000 Ultrapatch Pro Patchbay:

Just got one and I am very happy with it. I do have a studio full of Behringer and never had a single problem. The company delivers exactly what it promises. I see a lot of negative comments and I can only imagine they come from competitors.More power to Behringer who does not ripp musicians off like other companies.

Guess I've been lucky with all the Behringer products I own (this patch bay, V-Amp, small aux mixer, Line amps/splitter). I've had no problems, nothing has failed, electronics VERY quiet. Incredible value for the money.

      Poor Behringer

      By Professor Hefner

      from Wisconsin

Comments about Behringer PX3000 Ultrapatch Pro Patchbay:

I do not understand why Behringer insists on stealing product designs, refusing to use components that even slightly resemble anything remotely considered "quality", and hyping those same poor excuses for products in a manner that makes people of all demographics believe they actually "need" the product - feature-rich as it may be.Great for a 12-year-old budding engineer/musician, unfathomably a poor choice for anyone understanding quality in relation to necessity.

      By Vander

Comments about Behringer PX3000 Ultrapatch Pro Patchbay:

What more can I say. This patchbay does everything is says it does for about half the price of anything else. In addition, you switch modes with a selector switch (instead of having to open it up to flip a board). If you need a patchbay, this is it.
