Bought this mixer as an upgrade from an all-in-one powered mixer the band was using before. We needed more XLR inputs and this board gives us 24 channels of XLR. Zero defects out of the box and gigging fine for over 6 months. I like the one button mute for the break music input. Fade out the break music, toogle the mute button, and the live levels are right back exactly before break. High marks are given in consideration of zero defects out the box, meeting and exceeding my expectations in almost all respects, and the solid performance over 6+ months of use. Drawbacks: We use the two pre-fader monitor outputs, before we only had one. But 4 monitor outputs would even be better. Also, I want to stress that the EQ is for either the mains OR the monitors. My old all-in-one unit had separate EQ for both the mains AND the monitors. Since almost all feedback occurs on the monitors, set the EQ for monitor mode and just work the channel EQ's for the mains, or get an external multiband EQ unit for serious tweaking. Hasn't been a problem for us, but I did like separate EQ for both the mains and monitors. So I marked the unit down on the features just a bit. Considering the price you pay for this board compared to other 32 channel mixers, those are relatively small complaints. For a cover band gigging a couple weekends a month, this fit our budget. I am very pleased with both the price and solid performance of this board.

I purchased one of these for my church and in less than two years of use one of the special effect channes is non-functional; the on-board eq switch is damaged; we have been experiencing intermitent signal output loss in the main fader (reflected in a lower left channel)(this we have worked through using tuner lubricant spray every two weeks). We have continued to use it but we are afraid it will continue to break down. We are replacing it. We have had the same type of experience with other Behringer equipment. They are a good value but they malfunction soon after we atart using them (compressor / limiter; direct boxes). May not continue to buy Behringer.

Comments about Behringer SX3242FX Eurodesk Mixer:
If you buy this board, make sure you get the Musicians Friend extended coverage. I didn't and I spent months fighting with Behringer when the board died on a gig. They finally replaced it, but many of the same problems are now appearing...flat spots in the pots, overheating in the power supply area. Now the warranty has run out and I am stuck with a lemon. I carry my old, used Mackie as a spare, just in case. Definitely not worth the listed suggested retail...worth about that Musicians Friend is offering it for at the moment.

Comments about Behringer SX3242FX Eurodesk Mixer:
I have been with MF for 8 years now. This board works really Great. The built in FX is a pleasure to have. Less rack space to fill. Makes for shorter setup time, which gives me more time with the bands I work with. I have approx 19k watts in power and it handles it with respect.
Comments about Behringer SX3242FX Eurodesk Mixer:
Bought one of these worked great for 3 years and then first one channel died then another. Now there is tons of white noise coming thru. Works good for a while the starts dieing little buy little.
Comments about Behringer SX3242FX Eurodesk Mixer:
at any given time, our webcasting group would have anywhere from six to ten people on the air along with musican equipment. before buying this board, we used a 12 channel mixer board and had to switch out body packs to get the next person on the air. now that we have a larger mixer board, we do not run into that problem anymore. We purchased a power amp to use for our in-house speakers, and this mixer board works great with or without that amp. Well worth the money
Comments about Behringer SX3242FX Eurodesk Mixer:
I bought this mixer for my band because I'm a die hard behringer fan. We originally had the europower pmp2000 but we couldn't fit everything in one mixer so we bought this. The thing is great especially when you have subwoofers and need an output directly for that. The only thing is that it only has 1 eq so you have to choose between main and aux so I would just get an external equalizer.

Comments about Behringer SX3242FX Eurodesk Mixer:
Nice mixer with more features than most live applications need, subs work well, nice selection of aux and eff choices, even a mono send for subs. Can be ran without external EQ but not recommended. Digital effects are very comparable to dedicated rack mount units. Had one channel quit working, so it's good that I have 32. If you use it outside clean it immediately, especially the sliders, seems more sensitive to dirt and dust than other brands, but overall pretty good.

Comments about Behringer SX3242FX Eurodesk Mixer:
There are 24 mono mic inputs, not 20. Do not dismiss this mixer for having less than 24, as I almost did for use with an Alesis 24 track. I intend to buy this in a few days, and this typo appears in other retailer's catalogs. See the factory pages and get a m PDF manual to confirm for yourself. I did, and am glad of it.
