Bose Portable Line Array System puts the musician back in control of the music, while eliminating many problems of conventional amplification setups. This 2-Pack includes 2 complete L1 Cylindrical Radiator speaker systems: 2 - L1 speakers; 2 - PS1 power stands; and matching R1 remote controls. Each L1 provides 250W to the upper section and 250W to the lower section.

The L1s allow uncommonly consistent sound for you and the audience, offering a revolutionary approach to the challenge of amplifying vocals, acoustic guitar, wind, and string instruments for live music.

While it sports a radically different design, what's just as striking about the basic L1 system is what's missing: there's no monitors, conventional amplifier, PA system, mixing console, or cable tangles.

Although simple in operation, this system brings full, natural sound to your performances with easy setup and sound control. Setup is reduced to just 3 easy steps: 1. Place the bottom half of the loudspeaker into the power stand. 2. Connect the top half of the loudspeaker to the bottom half. 3. Plug the power amp into a power source. Done. Sound check is also a breeze--just plug in, tune up, and play. You're in control of your sound, not dependent on someone listening from the back of the audience.

The L1's unique pole-shaped design delivers a wide dispersion pattern, with nearly 180 degrees of sound coverage that offers balanced sound levels. With the L1 placed behind the musicians on stage, there's no more need for monitors to hear yourself and everyone in the band, plus the audience hears exactly what you hear. Band members 3' away from the speaker are not blasted and fans 50' away can still enjoy the nuances of the music. Musicians and fans experience nearly the same full sound without separate monitor, PA speakers, or audible distortion.

Say goodbye to your amplifier, mixing console, and cable tangles. The PS1 power stand takes the place of those components, as well as being the mechanical support for the L1. Lift the access panel to uncover 4 inputs (2 balanced mic/line and 2 unbalanced line) that make it easy to share the system with a band mate or connect multiple instruments. The 2 mic/line inputs have insert loops for your favorite effects. The PS1's formidable DSP engine drives the presets available on the first 2 channels as well as providing system equalization and overload protection. The PS1 presets adjust the performance of the L1 for use with a variety of popular instruments and vocal microphones.

The compact R1 remote control gives you the freedom to move around without being tied down to a set of controls. Simply attach it to your mic stand or anywhere else and make quick sound adjustments without missing a beat. The control has 3-band EQ/volume control for each of the mic/line inputs and overall volume control for the system (inputs 1-4).

For added bass response and warmer sound, add the B1 Bass Module (sold separately) to your L1.
