The CAD 4-Piece Drum Microphone Pack is a carefully selected complement of CAD mics that will accurately reproduce every part of your drum kit's dynamics. They include three TSM411 dynamic mics for snare and toms and a KBM412 large-diameter kick mic. Also included are three DSM-1 mic mounts and a custom road case for safe transport.

Let me tell you. I bought these mics just to get me by until I could get some 57's and after hearing them there is no way I will change. These mics are great. They have a way better and rounder sound than the 57's do and you can't beat the price. The clips are awesome. I never liked setting up stands all over the place and the clips are very sturdy and don't change the tunning of the drum either. Awesome!!! Get them now!!!!

I do live sound and while I originally bought this mic package (along with the CAD pencil condensers) for studio drum miking, I ended up using the tom mics for a bunch of other things, specifically live guitar cabs. There's really no bleed and the mics have a wide frequency range. It's a pretty good alternative to buying 3 57s and they're convenient because they come with thier own mic clips. I actually used to use the Shure PGM kick mic and switched to this CAD kick mic because it has a better pick-up pattern and a more round signal. In the end these mics are cheap, versatile and generally durable. The drum mounts are terrible.

I have used this set in comparison to the Shure drum mic package to see the difference. The tom mics are slightly better in the Shure pack, but the kick drum mic is amazing! I would choose this over the Shure set just for the kick drum mic. There isn't a big enough difference in the tom mics to spend the extra $$.

I just recently got these for my studio and man was I impressed. The kick drum, when placed correctly sounds amazing (especially when you add compression an EQ). The tom and snare mics do have sound bleeding on them but in the final mix, can't be noticed much. (On my projects at least.) I would recommend these mics to anyone who needs great mics and a cheaper price than other mics.

The mics are good for a band that doesn't own pre-amps. They have a really hot signal. The clamps are excellent quality, but are hard to hook up, at least to the Tama set I was miking. (There is very little play in the adjustment.) Mics could use a better pattern, (lots of bleed), but sound great. Overall a good start for drum miking in a cool package for an excellent price. I bought two packages.

I use these mics in my studio,for drums of course. I like the kick drum mic, very tight, solid. I don't get too much bleed through with it,but i have on occasion. The snare and tom mics? Do you dare to use them? They bleed through alot,I can here the snare on my floor tom. Good sound, just heaps of bleeding. I wish there was a way to fix that. I still use them. But I could probly get by with the snare mic,the kick mic* and a really good overhead that ISN'T CAD. Invest in a good overhead!

I've owned this mic set for three years now and these mics are as dependable and accurate as the day I bought them. I've used them to record and produce several bands. They're easy to place and produce exemplary sound reproduction. The kik mic sounds especially good.
