i use these alot to mic bands that come in to use rehersal space and want demos done, The KBM bass drum mic works great on a kick but i've found better use for it on the Floor tom. It really delivers a nice attack with the warm tone of the floor tom. the TSM's i havent really enjoyed all that much, using them on my rack toms and thats it the clips dont give you as much adjustibility as you would want but still deliver, these are great quality mic's for the price with one or two good over heads and some EQ your kit can sound great

Happy so far. Seem to be built well. Clips stay in place. Kick mic worked best for me inside the drum close to the attack head.

Buy em! The 417 condencers in the 7 piece kit don't beat the competion, but the 412 and the 411 will out perform any mic of this price range and higher.
I have recently added the 4 piece mic kit to my 7 piece mic setup. I've tested these mics in a profesional stuido against the b52's and a pzm, as well as sm57's and I have to say the CAD hold their own. The 412 also makes a great bass amp mic.
I bring the two 412 kick mics to every show just because the sound guys hate a double bass kit, now they dont have an excuse not to mic my left kick. I would have given these a 10 because I havent had a single problem with them, but i do baby them and bring the casees with me. They would get a 10 if I could throw them around and not worry.
sound quality is great, i would mos def buy these again.

Great product for a great price! Perfect for what I was looking for. Minor problems with shipping cost and sale price but Customer Service was great and fixed it immediately! Recommend to everyone!

These are good drum mics for the money. I have upgraded to the MD421's from here but I still use the KBM412 to mic the bottom of floor toms. Good for beginners.

These mic's are well worth the money. The clips are easy to adjust and attach easily to the rims. I run my Evans heads very wet. This provides a clean and tight response with no over ring. The mics pickup a clear and accurate tone. I still use my AKG D112 for my kick. These mics are a compliment to the overall sound of my Tama kit. Buy them!
