THERE IS JUST NOTHING THAT HITS LIKE A CERWIN VEGA FOLDED HORNS I HAVE TRIED LOTS OF OTHERS AND WHEN YOUR RUNNING THE VEGA'S AND THE PEOPLE THAT LEAVE THERE DRINKS TO COME DANCE ONLY TO FIND THAT WHEN THE RETURN THERE GLASSES AND BEER BOTTELS HAVE VIBRATED OFF THE TABLE AND BROKE ON THE FLOOR THATS BASS!!!!!!

These are fantastic. We used to run 4 subs but now can get by with 2 unless we play a very large venue. Be aware that you need plenty of good clean power, they love power and lots of it. We power these with a Crown XTi 4000 run in bridge mode which is 3200 watts into 8 ohms (1600 watts per cab) and they will rattle the rafters. At 160 pounds each they are not light and they are very large. But they have good heavy casters. You just flip them over on their backs and roll them in. Best subs I've ever had and in my long musical career I've tried them all. Buy 'em, you'll love 'em!

i have a pair of el-36c 18" and i can tell you from experience that they are the best in the world these subs are true to their name "earthquake" they make my lows thump and when i dj the lows is where the beat is at it is the soul of the music

We picked one of these up in July and have loved it ever since. It has awsome deep lows. My kick sound amazing with this. We always wanted that pro concert sound with the lows but didn't want to carry around 4 subs. This does the trick. Just make sure you have enough power to run it. With an eq and good drum mics, this thing will shake the room.
