The "Chauvet PAR 56 Lighting System" is great. I've had them for a few months now, and they have performed really well! They stay cool, they're easy to set up, they're lite weight and they give off really good light. They might be small, but they're powerful! The features on it are good, the only thing I would change about them are the stands. They aren't as thick or as sturdy as I would like them to be, but they do the job.Over all, this is a really good buy. I would suggest that anyone who needs lights and doesn't have alot of money, buy these.
I purchased two of these Chauvet par 56 light systems. Everything seems OK except for the controlllers. They're junk, which kind of makes the whole thing uselessOne of mine won't turn off unless I unplug it.The other one will turn on and off but doesn't do anything except jump from light to light every minute or so. It's like the microphone that is supposed to pick up the sound is not working. The stands are just OK. The lights themselves seem pretty sturdy. The footswitch works about half the time.I've used the American DJ par light products as well. Although they're flimsy, they're cheaper than these and they seem to work better.
I have owned two of these for 6 months now and have used them at our gigs probably 20 times. They really added to our show, easy up & down. Stands are a little questionable but work. Switch pedal takes a little getting used to but works fine. One channel has malfunctioned causing one lamp (out of 8) to remain illuminated full on no matter what, a bit annoying but we have gotten used to it. Par 56 lamps kick but and are a nice small stage power party for your gig!
