For a light board that is promoted to control any DMX light, it's so user-unfriendly, it's amazing. Having owned an American DJ controller for quite some time, I decided to upgrade. This unit is not friendly to anything but Chauvet lights. It comes preset for them. If you own anyhing else, forget it. I tried to use the joystick to control 2 Accu Spots and 2 DJ spots and all they did was jerk back and forth. I could not get the board to operate a single light and this coming from a guy who runs light regularly (2 accu spots, 2 dj spots, DMX fog machine, DMX laser, DMX strobes) - not one piece of my gear responded to this board.
If you are new to DMX, I highly reccommend you think long and hard about purchasing this unit. Its a wonderful design and has powerful features but is difficult to program in my opinion. Very confusing manual.
