I have had this fog machine for a while now and it has just recently died. I used it a good bit mostly on weekends for DJ. The pint of juice it came with at first worked perfectly, but when I ran out, I bought Lighting Fog Juice and it did not work as well as it did with the pint that it came with. Bottom line here is, I would save your money and buy a better fogger.
Decent price for a fogger, but this product won't last for more than 6 months. Heater goes limp and not worthing fixing. Save your money and go for something with a little more quaility.
I have one, but I use it at home to impress the kids. I would never take to the stage. It's not that reliable when you are facing a large croud. It'll crash with no warning. Keep it at home. Shop some where else to get a quality unti, and expect to pay a couple of dollars for it. You get what you pay for.
It worked fine while I was playing around with it, but gave out on me when I needed it. When I first bought one and opened it up, it looked like it had been used. It had a rust spot! Later I found out that it was because the screw on the rear was drilled into the tank, and the juice would leak out. After I had fixed that problem, I realized that at the end of every cycle before it shut off, it would spray hot fog juice instead of fog for a few seconds. Then finally the pump crapped out when I needed it for my Chauvet scanners (which also aren't the best either). I can hear it hum, and the heater works, but no fog. I would have gotten another one, if I had not known that this is a common thing.
I bought two of these for stage use with my band... they made it to one show, then the one broke. I could feel the heater working and hear the pump running when you hit the button, but no fog came out... so I scrapped it. The next day, the other one did the same thing. To hell with it, next time I'll shell out 150 for a decent heavy duty one.
Great little product. Built well with sleek look. Chauvet foggers are the real thing.
