I bought one of these used. I can't say I was amazed, but it's an OK effect. I use it as a back-up light and run it for a few minutes just to give my scanners a break every once and a while. I plan on getting a second one later on. Get this light as a back-up light, NOT as a main effect. You can't run this thing for extended periods of time and expect it to last long. There's no point in the fan in the back because it's too weak to be cooling anything off. It's a nice effect though.

This lighting effect was very cool for the entire 10 minutes that it ran. Suddenly it stopped working for no known reason and was extremely hot to the touch.I sent it back for a replacement and the second unit was dead out of the box. I'm very disappointed by this experience and hope it's an exception rather than the norm for this product.

Great light for small venues. The light uses 3 - 100 Watt halogen lights. So this light runs VERY hot. Warning on the light tells you to use a work/rest cycle of 15 minutes on/15 minutes off.

Looks good on the pic but it's misleading. Look Again, that light is only a few feet off the ground. The beams aren't hardly visible in a pitch black room from 14 feet away. Might be good for a kids birthday, but that would be in pretty good light, so probably wouldn't show at all. Won't work for anything really. Get a version with 300 watt bulbs instead of 100 or go LED but don't buy this. I returned it right away.

We bought this light a few months ago and have used it numerous times since and it has preformed perfectly. It is a really cool effect to see that lines on the floor and the crowd loves it. It would ne nice to have a pair of these as it is not all that bright. For the money it is a neat and unique effect light. It seems to be built fairly well but it is always important not to drop or shake the lights, if this is paid close attention to a light should last for a long time. Kudos to Chauvet for making another cool product.

The motor burned out on my Mini Line Dancer after less than a year. Prior to the motor burning out, it was QUITE loud and didn't really work that well when set to music.

I liked it when I bought it but after 2 months the wiring came loose on one of them. Tried to fix it and the plastic holder broke. Just last week my second one broke. My advice spend the extra dollars and get something worth while. Otherwise get something in which the wires don't rotate or move. My recommendation is a Moonflower.

I am a d.j. and need a lighting system that is very mobile. The mini line dancer is just that. the effects that it produces on the dance floor are very bright and clear. works great with our current set up. I would highly recommend this piece to add to your set up. very affordable, and greatly effective.

Santa brought our 3 little girls this light so that they could have their own personal bedroom disco. It works great and puts out alot of fancy lights(for their age 7,8 and 10). I'm not certain it would be ideal for an actual club but my girls love it!

The chauvet Comet neither disapointed me or amazed me. It didn't pump up my light show to a new level. But it did add a nice effect of simplisity to a very complicated light show. For smaller local bands on a tight budget I suggest the comet. It lasted me a good 6 months but I treated it somewhat harshly so just take good care and it should serve you well.
