The Scorpion RVM from Chauvet is an extremely bright aerial affect with intense beams of red and violet lasers that can be used separately in a solid color or blended together to create a magenta colored mix. The Fat Beam technology creates beams that are 4 times thicker than a standard laser making this effect ideal for any event without the use of fog or haze. Perfect for mid-air beam looks, the effect can be moved and zoomed to fit the venue perfectly. Scorpion RVM is fully linkable with the Scorpion GVC and Scorpion RGY variants to create a full-spectrum laser show.

Ok portable laser light. Works best in very dark space/room. DMX control works well as does random mode. I use it pointed at vaulted white ceiling.
Laser light especially darker color is no where near as bright as I would have hoped. Laser does not appear to be focused very well and seems blurry instead of a crisp laser beam. Not sure if this can be adjusted or fixed as the manual does not indicate as such.
Got this on a super deal of the day and for the price it is nice but would not pay full price and most likely there are better lights available for the money.

The laser works as described but it is not as bright as I was expecting. I believe I have reasonable expectations and I wasn't expecting it to be as bright as something you would see at a large concert or lazer show. However, I found that the light would hardly even penetrate through the fog in a medium sized room in my house and the areal effect is hard to see unless the room is totally dark, not at all like the photos and videos would have you believe. I also have a Micro Galaxian which by comparison is way brighter and way cheeper too. It is possible that I got a dud and mine isn't as bright as others but, so far, I am overall unimpressed.

Instructions are very unclear I found out how to use them on U-Tube. BUT these lights are C00L !!! I mounted them on the corner of my truss and they are awesome !!! I think you need a DMX for full effect ..plus better controls ..they really light up the dance floor !!! Very Cool deal

Including a violet laser in this product sets it in a preferred catagory . It adds to existing light shows and works well most anywhere . Violet light is harder to see so this effect should be used in dark areas with a light background to project on . This is a fun effect that is hard to get tired of .

A great, inexpensive tool to add professionalism and snazz to your performance. Smoke/Haze more than double the wow factor, get one of those too! Easy to program, runs without a hitch, great with my DMX controller. 10 out of 10

Need to return product, which is a hassle due to the product not working as advertised.
It states that it can product lighting in multiple colors, it does not. Something is wrong with product.
Will return to see if replacement product works.
I will comment again when we receive a new one.
