These lights were a great solution to us. Easy to carry and set up - although you'll definitely want to get a bag or box or something to put them in, they're fragile - and they improved our show for a pretty small investment. They don't compete with any club with a decent lighting system, but we've been playing dim bars and random places, so they help us a lot. I expect our singer and I will host an open mic night somewhere at some point, and these will get used there. I'm going to try and be very gentle with them, as they're obviously fragile. There's not much in the way of features here, what you see if what you get, but hey, I don't want to worry about running a light show anyway. Every time the kick goes off, they change. Cool enough for me. They make us look better to the audience, and I honestly believe that some musicians perform better with bright lights in their face, providing that "Black Curtain" that puts the audience at another remove.
There's not a lot to these - but they do what we needed. We cabled them together and left them changing to the music with the sensitivity all the way up. The photographer who came out to shoot us that night loved them because every shot he took was a different color. The foot controller box came already bent, and doesn't seem to work the way it's labeled. It looks like if you stepped on it hard it would collapse on itself. We didn't use it. A lot of people who reviewed these here said they received broken lights, but all of ours worked, the light fixtures themselves were in fine shape, and like I said, it all did the job we needed. The stands are great, nicer than the ones we use for our speakers.
Seems pretty fragile, but was inexpensive and worked fine. Certainly bright enough for us, and definitely added excitement to the visual aspect of the show. The lights won't angle down far enough to use "properly" at a 45 degree angle without the addition of a piece of angled metal or something, but the stands don't go high enough to do that anyway. We put the two stands next to each other in front of us and a little to the side - the only place in the club we could - and they were fine. We may try using them as more of a side-wash arrangement at some point.
I'd have to say fantastic value so far. We'd been needing something for quite a while. The last show we did before buying them we had a photographer friend come out, but the club was dim, and he didn't get anything he liked. This time around he was ecstatic. They liven up things and add another element of "A Real Show" to what we're doing. Every little bit helps, and I know a lot of guitarists and bassists who spend more than $200 on an effects pedal that gets heard maybe once or twice in a show and no one (except them!) notices anyway. You could do a lot worse with your $200. Only problem is now I'm seriously considering a smoke machine. Nooooo....

Quality control must not a part of China's labor force. Thats ironic too, Chauvet (French name), made in China. Just recieved my third set of these. Like the first two, this set to is defective. First set: The lights went crazy and would not stop. Second set: The blue lights on one of the banks didn't work. Third set: Not all of the green lights on one bank work. The foot controller is junk. The stands are great, but each time I sent the lights back, the stands had to be shipped as well. They came in seperate boxes.???? Even at the price of $200.00, the lights should work. Yes they are economy lights, but come on, they should work. Save yourself a big headache, don't buy this item.

Comments about Chauvet Stage Bank Stage Lighting System w/Stands:
I won't give it a 10 because of the different speakers heights and the broken piece inside one of the lights. It is still a grat value for the money and was a great hit at the first wedding we DJ'ed.
This is a nice starter system. Nice for DJ or small stage. Just set it and let it go. Foot petal works great for performing. You don't even need it for DJing.
One light has a rattle in it, a peg broken. the speaker stands came in a different shippment and are different brands. peg holes do not match. I drilled an extra hole so they will stand at the same height.
Everything works great after some minor fixes.
For what you pay for this system, it works great for our need. solo singer and DJ services. To be really a pro, we just need a light box instead of the foot petal.
Comments about Chauvet Stage Bank Stage Lighting System w/Stands:
I'm very dissatisfied with these units.
The features are adequate.
I bought the Stage Bank Pack Lighting Package. The LED displays started failing within an hour of their delivery. Most of each of the blue clusters on both light banks within 30 minutes of turning the units on. I recognize these are "value priced", but I'm very disappointed each unit failed so soon after receiving them. I would not purchase these.
The only reason I didn't rate "value" at terrible is because they are inexpensive relative to other light sets. However, given they failed shortly after receiving them, who can say its foamy value?

overall I like the package just wish I had them to use. On my third set the new ones are in the mail somewhere
Nice stands foot control not bad lights not to sure about
I had the first set for a couple of weeks had to send the lihgts back. some LEDs quit working. But they sent me a new set, but when you moved them you could here things rolling around in them. Some LEDs didn't work right out of the box.
good price for the package but the stands are better than the lights

Needs more info in the manual. But, they work really well for the price. I would definitely recommend them for all us us with very little money to spend.
Great lights for the price. No info in manual, but they work great once you figure out the settings.
Work well. Had a broken knob for the stand mounts, but MF took care of it quickly.

Hard to beat for the $ value! It work swell so far and is EASY to use. The band loves it as it creates a great light mood for playing/creative space. so far, so good!
Easy set up and operation, looks and feels good, a great way to get some color in your bands life. The sound sensitive light program is trippy and cool. Can't wait to add some more light effects. A great value for the money....
Comments about Chauvet Stage Bank Stage Lighting System w/Stands:
So far so good - for the money it is what I expected. There was no instruction at all on how to use the pedal with the lights; had to learn by playing with it for awhile. Have only used them for 2 gigs so far, but the audience likes them.
Comments about Chauvet Stage Bank Stage Lighting System w/Stands:
A great, small, easy to set up, understand, use and transport. I am an older working musician, so this is perfect for me. No climbing ladders, not too heavy, not too compicated. 5 minutes and I'm done setting up the light system. this set easily lights a 20'X12" club stage.
This Chauvet light system is a great starter set of lights for bandstand use. The set up is easy and quick. I was able to get 4 useful settings with the included footswitch: All on, sound activated blinking, all off and momentary blinking. These settings are all usefull to create nice effects on a bandstand. The lights are compact and easy to transport. This set come with low end speaker stands. For my use the stands could be taller and I would to be able to tilt the lights down towords the stage. However, at this price, I don't really have any complaints. Once again, this is a nice set up for smaller bands in smaller venues or to use as addtional fill lighting with a large set up.
The lighting is top quality, but the stands are not.
The is not way you could build a system like this for this price.
Comments about Chauvet Stage Bank Stage Lighting System w/Stands:
I'm still on the fence about these. Prior to purchasing, I did read all of the prior reviews - and I generally agree. The stands are wonderful; the lights are average (not the most well made piece of equipment; but they work). My regular gig is a two piece acoustic set, and we try and keep things as compact as possible. I like the fact that each bar is one unit (vs. four separate lights) - minimizes setup and power cords. They are not incredibly bright, but definitely adequate for us. I guess I'm saying that for most people, don't count on them being your only light source (we also use other floor lights - just wash these down from above). The sound activation works fine; would be cool for a DJ situation - but for our purposes, we don't use it - we just turn on the full wash.
If I had to wish for anything with these, I would like to see a footswitch that let's you manually change the color that's on (included switch only has full on or blackout). Also, it would be nice if they came with some kind of bag to transport them in - as I mentioned, not the sturdiest piece of gear. Not sure how they're going to hold up with extended use.
Again, on the bright side, they are doing the job for us. I bought them on a 'stupid deal' special - I wouldn't pay any more than that for them (amazes me how much LED lights cost, when the components that make them up cost so very little). But again, they are doing the job for us.
