My friend just bought one of these and we used it with my speakers. Preliminary start up we connected (2)Yamaha SW118V subwoofers and (2) Yamaha S115IV mains to a Crown XTi 4000. We let the unit run without it which speakers and amp we were using. It sounded decent, but not great. THEN, we programmed in the Crown XTi 4000 and the speakers. WOW WHAT A DIFFERENCE!!! You could actually tell what a change in the sound. I have never heard my speakers sound like that. I will be buying one and replacing my older amps with the new Crown XTi4000. Can't explain in words what my ears heard. Crisp, clear, and powerfull!
