Nevertheless, operating this microphone system without a license is subject to certain restrictions: the system may not cause harmful interference; it must operate at a low power level (not in excess of 50 milliwatts); and it has no protection from interference received from any other device. I didn't like it.

Comments about Digital Reference DR-2606 Vocal Wireless Microphone System:

After driving all the way to Modesto to buy it came back to try it out and it had alot of dropouts so I took it back. I think the Shure PG24/PG58 Performance Gear Wireless is the way to go if you want to stay in the price range of this guy.

Good Value

By Matt5431

Comments about Digital Reference DR-2606 Vocal Wireless Microphone System:

I needed to update my wireless microphones because of the FCC stop operation of wireless microphones in the 700MHz frequency band. Be warned that the stated frequency on this site is incorrect. The correct listed frequency is 542-561MHz for the units I received. The mic sounds decent, appears to have less handling noise but is not quite as good in upper frequency clarity compared to my Shure PGX4 beta. I wasn't expecting it too be. I still believe this is a very good value.

Best sounding Microphone I've ever seen

By YK153FUt-

from Undisclosed

Comments about Digital Reference DR-2606 Vocal Wireless Microphone System:

Nothing Bad to say about this mic. @ all. The Best sounding! Just the other night we had a concert @ our church, the band had 3 Shure mics. Those have got to be the worst mics. I've ever seen. There were lots of dropouts and whats the cost of those like $400 each...I would never pay that for a shure...This mic. like I said before is worth the money If your looking for a good sounding mic. With no dropouts this is the one...plus look at the price...I'll be buying more!
