I bought this mic for the purpose of being a backup vocalist. I thought that for the price it was all I needed. But I'm now lead vocalist in another band and we're all desperately waiting to get the mic back from my former drummer (he stole it and never used it, and boy does that stink for him). Anyways, this is an excellent mic, and beats out the ever-popular SM-58 ten-fold.
These mics were used in a setup for choirs at a World Congress Convention Meeting in July of 06 and the worked great. The mics held up to a weekend of constant moving no problems used in a large venue location.
Here is my Review On this Mic. I have had it in front of a Guitar Rig playing Punk, Metal, Blues. Recorded with it. It is a very good mic for getting the Cab. I have used it for vocal recording for a movie. It is very good. The rear rejection is great to prevent bleeding. I am very happy for the price. If you are looking for a good mic to replace a 57 this is a good Mic.It will give a 58 a run for its money My friend who is a blues Guitarist Really liked the sound. The only thing no on or off switch This is a great mic for the money.
- sturdy reliable
Bought it on way to gig , couldn't find my other, now practice mic in stage box, as a just in case deal. Ended up using it for everything, able to use whole stage as the thing just don't feed back ! Unless you have cash to throw away this mic compares to ones three times the price,
