    Great Concert Sound

    By MO-wi.hV

Comments about EAW FR129z 12" 2-Way Speaker Cabinet:

These kicked my overall sound up about 10 notches! I was using 4 EV sx300s and they are real good for what I do. But theses EAWs sound much most in your face than the EVs. I onlt changed speakers and kept the same amps, board, fx, etc. So then that means it's the speakers that made all the difference for me. I highly suggest you get these if you work medium sized venues of 250-500 people. You will be amazed! I was!

    best in it's class

Comments about EAW FR129z 12" 2-Way Speaker Cabinet:

These speakers are by far the best in it's class. The only thing better that I have heard is Meyers and who wants to pay that kind of money! In the first instance of use we were in a large venue with a high ceiling. Another group was already set up with a pair of high end jbl speakers and a good front loaded sub. We decided to compare and let me tell you there was no Comparison! These absolutely blew the jbls away (and I am a huge JBL and Carvin fan)! We were all stunned!. The comparison was as good as could be with the same set up and equipment, just replacing the main speakers and reshooting (pinknoise) the room. You will not be disapointed.

    Really does the job!

Comments about EAW FR129z 12" 2-Way Speaker Cabinet:

I've owned several pairs of "small" 2-way 12-inch speakers that I use as mains paired with a 15-in sub for my ballroom DJ service. Currently these are powered by a QSC PLX3000 amp. These are my favorite among those I've owned because of the coverage, the sound quality, and because not very much bass comes out the sides and back of the cabinet, which is by far the sturdiest among those I've tried.I've used these in gyms that are several basketball courts large and gotten good coverage and uniformly surprised listeners who couldn't believe that so small a speaker sounded so big. They are pricey for this type speaker, but worth every penny.
