A good average quality monitor compared to low to mid line JBL, Peavey and the like. The cabinet is built like a tank but the horn is quite harsh and weak. I have used many major brands over the past 20 years and have never had any problems with the horns...this horn tends to blow out very easily. Bass is not as strong as one would expect. VERY smooth sounding cabinet when backing it with a high quality amp (Crown, Lab Gruppen etc) with 600 watts for adequate headroom. I would suggest replacing the woofer and horn with B & C. It seems that the RCF components are of the lower line from the company. Overall a great monitor for vocal listening but not much more.
