    The Electro-Voice PL DK7 is a ready-for-the-gig microphone solution for a 5-piece drum set containing 1 PL33 dynamic supercardioid kick drum mic, 4 PL35 dynamic supercardioid tom/snare mics, and 2 PL37 condenser cardioid overhead/hi-hat mics, all packaged in a high-quality firm-exterior 600 Denier nylon gig bag with shoulder strap. The PL33 dynamic supercardioid kick drum mic delivers tight low-end and punctuation for kick drums and low frequency instruments. The EV PL35 dynamic supercardioid tom and snare mic, with its unique body design, integrated swivel and drum rim clamp is voiced for exceptionally natural tom and snare sounds. And the PL37 condenser cardioid overhead mic is designed and voiced for overhead drums, cymbals, hi-hats and percussion, and crisply captures all the performance nuances with superior transient response.

    Great Product

    Comments about Electro-Voice PL DK7 Drum Mic Pack:

    I bought the DK7 Drum Mic Pack a couple of month ago. I had read reviews about the PL35 tom/snare mic and I have to be in agreement about the difficulty mounting them on the rims. I was afraid of breaking them if I put force behind them to mount but I did it anyway and they went right on. I left them on the rims for about a week to try and loosen or stretch them because they fit so tight and now it's no trouble getting them mounted. Sound quality is great for the PL33, PL35, and the PL37. I've ordered a 5th PL35 and plan on ordering a 6th PL35 and a 3rd PL37. Once you figure out how to mount them you'll be very pleased, I am!!!!

    EV Drum Mics Rock

    I bought these from a store that was going to discontinue this line, so I got them for much cheaper. I am so, so happy with the sound quality I get from these mics...all of them. The mounts are tight on the drum rings...A little too tight actually. They snap into place and are hard to put on and take off the first time, but have no issues now that they have been on and off a number of times. Great adjustment on the microphones, you can move them around on the clip anywhere you need it. I'd buy them all over again!
