One of the best deal out there! the only comment I have is the mounting clips, every time I clip them on I can picture them snapping. If you are planing to use the clips in a festival setting you might take that in to consideration other than that top notch mics.
The EV pl35 tom mic is a pretty decent value. They work well on toms, snare not so much.I don't think you will be disappointed in the sound they give you, toms sound very natural with a minimum of EQ.I will add however add that the mics are only wired Pin 2 pin 3, with very tiny wire, and have no neutral ( ground) wire. The shell acts as the ground so keep those jack screws tight. Don't know if this will prove to be a problem. The main problem I have is that I have yet to come across a drum rim that I can mount the DRC clamp to. They are too small and are way too stiff! I was baffled by this, and no one I have asked has been able to mount them either! In conclusion, the 3-pack is a decent deal, per sound BUT buy some drum clamps at the same time and toss the ones that come with them ( you can remove the "euro adapter"in the mic body) , they are not at all useful. Also, check those XLR connector screws mine all needed to be tightened, which is how I came to see the wiring scheme, as one connector literally fell out !
These mics work great. They sound as good as a Beta 57 on the toms , most likely cause the neodymiun magnets. A steal for the price. I can't find anything wrong being B-stock. I own an EV n/d 267 and love it as well for years now.
