Comments about Fender Passport 300 Pro Portable PA System:
Bought this to replace our rehearsal PA and for smaller, more personal shows/venues that don't supply sound. Great sound, very portable, decent reverb and stupid easy to use. No monitor outputs and no daisy chaining on the speakers, so you have to get creative at times for small shows. No RCA inputs is also a bummer. Have used it for 50-ish person shows and supplied last minute sound for Habitat for Humanity outdoors for 300+ people... the latter being very challenging as the system is very sensitive to feedback at high volumes. Watch out if you're ordering the Fender speaker stands along with the PA. They're huge when collapsed in the gig-bag. The PA easily fits in a sedan trunk, but the stands are over 5ft collapsed, which makes the portable PA package pointless. However, the speakers are light enough to use mic stands and store bought or homemade adapters as stands.

Comments about Fender Passport 300 Pro Portable PA System:
Amazing quality of sound and volume from this small unit. We've used these and pushed them beyond what is reasonable to expect, and they stand up well. Perfect for small venues; portable, simple to use. Good reverb. Love it.
Comments about Fender Passport 300 Pro Portable PA System:
We bought this mainly to have small musical sessions in small to medium halls. It is very versatile, easy to transport and sounds amazing for our purpose. I very much like the fact that it is so easy to transport. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a small PA system with good sounds.
Comments about Fender Passport 300 Pro Portable PA System:
We have a small practice space, so the Passport 300 suits it well. Haven't had it long yet-have not taken it out, but we're certain it has plenty of power for the venues we'll use it at. Did try it with a subwoofer 'cause of other reviews we read, that adds a lot of bass, not sure that it's necessary, though. We run a keyboard and keyboard bass through it, as well as vocals, and it sounds great. We're very pleased with it.
Setup of the Passport 300 Pro is a breeze, simple & straightforward, easy to operate.
Vocals are clear, crisp, warm, NO FEEDBACK, even with mic very close & almost pointed at the speaker.
Great value for the price. We were concerned that smaller/lighter speakers could not produce sound & volume we wanted, but this sounds great.
Comments about Fender Passport 300 Pro Portable PA System:
I perform with one other band mate, mostly, and occasionally host an open mic night, at a local bar. We are both vocalists and multi instrumentalists. The 300 overs enough inputs for our needs. And at the open mic nights, I patch in a small Beringher mixing board, as well. The system is plenty powerful for our venues, and super easy to use and transport. I'm buying the cover for it, because I worry about banging it up during transport. I'm also buying the Fender speaker stands. For us, it will then be just about perfect. We have been complimented on the sound quality.
I got a great deal, which makes the value even better!
Comments about Fender Passport 300 Pro Portable PA System:
I owned the 250 version, upgraded to the 300 last year and I'm very pleased. Fantastic sound, clear, bright and brilliant for singing through. The cheap, thin speaker cables that come with it aren't really trustworthy for regular use, I bought new, sturdier, longer ones. This thing sets up in less than ten minutes, and only requires one trip in and one trip out. Lighter than the previous version, airtight and waterproof design, built very tough. I play in a blues rock band, mostly smaller venues, but it covers even the larger rooms with no problem. Plenty of bass response, and I've had the speakers BEHIND the singers and still, NO FEEDBACK.
A breeze to set up, extremely simple to operate for even a novice. I also use it at home for a kick butt stereo system using one of the two stereo 1/8 in. jacks for my walkman, or for playing music on breaks at gigs. I know some old dude who would rather hoist around giant heavy speakers up on stands and break his back and have 50 knobs to operate, but he's set in his ways. I laugh at him cause I have the Fender Passport 300, which gets the same or superior sound, and is light as a feather in comparison. I've gotten lots of compliments on it, and some people are shocked that it sounds so good for something so small. I also use my line out of my amp and run it into the Passport for that full room coverage and it sounds sweet. One amp and three singers and they all sound beautiful. I highly recommend this p.a.
Best portable p.a. I've ever owned, and the best deal ever.
Well made, durable, very portable. Looks good, so simple to set up and tear down, beautiful vocal reproduction.
Best price I've ever paid for a p.a., portable or otherwise.
Comments about Fender Passport 300 Pro Portable PA System:
It is easy to set up, and has excellent sound. The speakers are light enough to lift onto their stands without being a weightlifter. My only suggestion for change is to place the speaker input jacks out of sight, either on the bottom or back of the enclosure.
The Fender Passport 300 Pro Portable PA System has everything I need for my jazz sextet plus vocalist. It is light enough to put in the back seat of my car and carry in to the gig. It has clean, crisp sound for the vocalist and flute and clarinet also sounded great. There is enough power to fill a small venue, and I plan to use it outside next summer.
Well-designed: all the knobs are protected during travel. The padded feet are a nice extra touch. Having a storage cabinet for cables in the back of the mixer is a great convenience.
This PA is an excellent value for the price. It is just what I needed for my jazz sextet plus vocalist - no unwanted extra features with great sound.
Comments about Fender Passport 300 Pro Portable PA System:
This is a newer unit but once truely heard in the music industry they'll be the choice of a lot of professional musicians true stereo WOW. Could be a little cheaper but still less than the Bose L1's and compatable sound I would replace it if needed.
I.m a working professional and my sound markets my product. Being a keyboardist and sax player I've used a variety of keyboard amps Peavey,Yorkville and Roland which were all good units I was looking for something versatile and portable with more power for mid size venues after the death of my Roland 300. reading reviews from other keyboarist the best route was a pa system but with that comes the headache of setup and the extra gear and weight. I noticed a lot of players were pushing the yamaha stagepas sytems with great reviews I checked them out at one of our local music stores where they also had the Fender Passports I listen to both systems and the Fender Passport Pro provided a clear richer sound with true instument recreation. in addition to outstanding reverb / effects, you're able to tweak each channel to your liking and (2) true stereo channels.are real nice If you are looking for a small system that can handle small to midsize rooms with superb quallity sound this is the unit. The true test of the Passport 300 Pro for me was when the leslie for our church organ went out and I ran the organ through the Passport it was unbelievable. In an area that seata aprox. 350 people I had more than enough sound with great bottom running the foot bass along with warm true Hammond B3 quality testure simutaneouly running strings, horns, and key bass from a Korg Triton. I am really impressed with this unit it didnt clip as I ratttled the windows testing the units limits.
Great designn, duraable structure easy transporting I would recomend a hand cart, a little on the heavy side but extreemly solid structure
Could be a little cheaper a $100.00 bucks or so and Fender couldnt make em fast enough.
