The Galaxy Audio AS-900R receiver works in combination with the Galaxy Audio AS-900T transmitter for a complete entry-level wireless system and a solution for monitoring freedom. The AS-900R has an 80mW headphone output with volume control, RF and low-battery indicator. It runs on 2 'AA' batteries.

I've been using wedge monitors for years, and got tired of schlepping the wedges and a rack of amps so I started looking at IE monitors a few years ago. Unfortunately, most systems are pretty expensive. Then a couple months ago, I saw an ad for this Galaxy AS-900 system, and finally bought one last week. EXCELLENT results!!!! My god, I can finally hear myself, no matter where I'm standing. No feedback anymore either. The vocal mics pick up just enough of the drums and amps too, so that I don't feel detatched from the music. A great system for a very reasonable price.
