There is one happy drummer at our church. We've tried numerous monitors for years and Hot Spot has solved the feedback in that area, he can hear everything, fits perfectly in his electric set.

Comments about Galaxy Audio Hot Spot 7 with Volume control:
The new Hot Spot 7 monitors are a huge disappointment, and we returned them immediately. What shocks me is that I've used Hot Spots in the past with great success, but these are completely different in sound quality. I'm no scientist, but I wonder if it's their new "Made with Neolite" feature.
The bottom line is, they sound tinny and awful, and I wouldn't recommend them for ANY application. The previous generation of Hot Spots did their job as promised - they do not pack very much bass, and yet the sound was full and decent enough to use as stage monitors in quieter applications (e.g. cafes, church, etc.).
These new ones sounded so horrible that I didn't even want to finish running through songs in practice time - I didn't like the sound of my own voice or guitar at ALL, not to mention all the other voices and instruments. Yuck! I realized I wasn't enjoying hearing myself sing - I wasn't enjoying the music at all, because the sound was so awful. We promptly packed them all up and went back to the original wedge monitors.
I'm extremely disappointed with Galaxy Audio here. I've used Hot Spots in the past and I stood behind them - in fact, it was me who had recommended we make the investment and buy these. I will not be doing THAT again. Goodbye Hot Spots. Your era is past.
Comments about Galaxy Audio Hot Spot 7 with Volume control:
These are great little monitors. I bought two of them for starters. Have used them in both indoors and outdoors setting. In-doors they are great especially with the volume control. For the outdoor setting I also use a floor monitor for the bottom end of the vocals. I'm looking to buy one more.
Comments about Galaxy Audio Hot Spot 7 with Volume control:
All I can say is ten plus years of trouble free performance. as a sound contractor, these Galaxy hot spots havent blown and have served me well.
These little mons are the best solution for a tight stage. I use them for sound contracts for drummers. My original set of 2 I have had for over ten yrs and they still work like the day I bought them. They do not handle lows.
These are really built well. I doubt they ever get many returns from manufactures defects.
Awesome investment. A go to products thats solves space issues as well as feedback resistant.
