Comments about Gator 360 Degree Articulating Desk Mountable Arm:
The articulating arm is very good and well constructed...very heavy duty and looks great! The table clamp is also solid and works quite well. If you plan to use this with the monitor (up to 22") attached to the VESA mount, it will look and work great.
The fatal flaw with this product is that is you plan to put your laptop or tablet on it as a tray, the two included clips are terrible. The clips are cheap plastic, and not only are they too short to clamp down many laptops, they also do not secure your device solidly enough. The clips have a bad habit of often just "popping" off...sending your valuable laptop / tablet on a crash course to the floor. Another issue with the clips is that they just won't work with any laptop that has the mouse-touch pad / clicker thingys offset (not centered).
In the end, due to the cheap and flimsy clamps (clips?), I don't trust this to hold my laptop and I'm not too comfortable trusting it to hold my tablet for the same reason.
