I love these. I have actually had a pair just like them in the past and was very happy with them then. The price is awesome for what you get. The adapter plug alone that comes with the headphones got me excited. I have a DJ business and I use these headphones to preview song request at parties and my PA board only has 1/4" jacks on it so I was happy that I didn't have to purchase an extra one of those. The flexability of the headphones is very helpful at my events as well. They are compact and fit into my gear boxes very well. Great deal, fast delivery, completely satisfied all around. Thank you Musicians friend for coming through once again for me and my business. I will be back!

If you're looking for a somewhat comfy set of headphones, with below average sound quality and a price range that reflects these things, then look no further. If I had paid for these, I would return them honestly. Having used V-moda's, Shure, and Audio Technica's... my ears cried when I put these on.
90 Degree rotation on the ear cups, has a cable for each ear cup which tends to get in the way, comes with a 1/4" adapter. Standard fare.
It feels like I'm going to break them when i put them on. Ear pads are comfy though. Lightweight and produce 'better than expected' sound (I didn't expect much, thats close to what I received).
If I would've paid for these, my rating would've been lower. But since I received them free when I purchased another piece of equipment that pushed the rating up a little.

These headphones are cheap but I knew that getting in. WIthin the first weekend of use the right ear piece stopped working, which in my case is OK because I'm deaf in my right ear. For someone with a normal hearing arrangement this could be a huge stumbling block. I use them for watching television programs on my computer at work. The closed ear muffs work well enough at blocking out noise and the fidelity is adequate for my purposes. Critical listening for a mix would probably be a disappointment. They fold up well for easy storage. They work well enough for me but would probably be a drag for anyone else.

Bottom line: they are very uncomfortable. For this reason alone I would never recommend them. However, my husband says they aren't uncomfortable for him. Maybe if you have a bigger head?.... I don't know. I must say that I NEVER wear headphones that don't go IN your ears, so it could very well be that I am just not "used to" the feel of them. But frankly, I think they should feel good as soon as you put them on.
The sound is pretty good to me, although I am by far a music/sound aficionado. Both my husband and stepdaughter say they sound pretty good.
They still work after about 4 or 5 months with infrequent (once or twice a week, brief period) use.
Neither the good sound nor the price (I got them for one third the selling price & free shipping) outweight the fact that they hurt. No recommendation here.

Bought these from Stupid deal of the day. For the price how could I go wrong. Boy was I surprised. Uncomfortable, dull sounding, very little bass and hurt my ears after just a few minutes of use. The only good thing about them was the long cord. I have a cheap pair of another brand that beat these hands down. Save your money buy something else.

I don't have a lot to compare these with except a pair of Beyerdynamic DT 250s that I previously used. The sound on the G40DX headphones seems just as good, and they are very considerably lighter and easier on my head. The only downside is that they don't cover as much of my ear and leave some gaps that could let in ambient noise.

These headphones are Dollar Store quality, they should be given away free with each and every order. Theres nothing to say good about them except the cushioning seems to be the best part of this product.
