The Gear One G900DX Headphones out of the box feel a bit on the cheaply made side. The pastic earpieces didn't make me feel real confident about what I was getting. I must admit I have gotten used to design. They are pretty comfortable to wear.
The real test for me was the sound quality. I put these G900DX headphones up against a pair of JVC headphones I had been using that were consumer grade, but I liked them well enough. The sound difference is very noticeable. The G900DX headphones were much more detailed than the JVC and had a strong bass response without the muddiness. For the price, I am very pleased with the product for the price and would recommend them.
It is hard to know how reliable they will be over time as I have only had them for two weeks. So far, these are fine. I am using them currently for recording in my basement studio. I am just using them to monitor playback for overdubs. They work great for that application. I have not and do not currently plan to use them in mixdown application.

Quality seems OK - earpiece plastic feels cheap but in general seem fine.

Features i liked were that you could spin around each ear piece and it can rest on your ear so you can hear what your singing/saying. I have other ones that do this but these were more comortable than most ive tried so i leave it in the booth for singers.
weight wise its a little light. The sound quality is nothing special, kinda reminded me of skull kandy. Its fine for giving musicians a mix for recording, but i would not mix with these.
For the price, theres many better headphones to buy, grados are nice for a better price if you want a clearer mix.

These thing are not made that well . The first time I put them on there was static. I thought I would get these because they were the "stupid deal of the day", but I am the one who feels stupid for purchasing these headphones. I didn't expect them to be top of the line but I did expect good basic sound quality and they fail miserably.

If you're mixing, just make sure you're checking against other devices, but at the very least, get these for your musicians who are recording in the studio! Comfortable, limited bleed, and no issues with the quality so far. Long cable is helpful as well for running multiple from a headphone amp in the studio. Stock up before they're gone!
+/-3dB is noticable at times. If you're mixing with these, make sure you're checking levels on other devices as well to ensure everything is proper. Comfortable. Very, very comfortable. 1/4" TRS adapter included.
No Issues yet. Hoping it stays that way!
Have bought 4 so far at a wonderful price! Most likely ordering a couple more to fill up my headphone amp slots for the studio!

I'm getting a variety of low cost headsets for musicians to wear when I'm recording them. For this purpose, these are very good for the price. Not too much spill and a nice long cable that is not tiny and flimsy with 1/4" adapter.
Sound leans toward the low frequencies in general. One of the best headsets I've used in this price range. A little muddy, a little colored, not a lot of detail in the mid and upper end, but again, for this price, pretty nice sound. Relatively efficient, too. I've only used these a few hours, but so far they should do fine for studio tracking on a budget. I would not dream of using them to mix on, but fine for tracking monitors.

Not worth paying full price. But it was worth it for the deal of the day. The sound is an upgrade from my old sony headphones. The connection to the jack is loose on my set. And the connector does not have flexibility, it already feels like its going to break after a month of use.

These Gear One G900DX Headphones are comfortable on the ears and block out most outside noise. Their tone is great. I like the way they cover my ears and do not move around, yet are not too tight.
Received these Gear One G900DX Headphones a few days ago and tried them out immediately. I was impressed with the clarity they provide in place of the speakers of my stereo. I am using them at this moment on my computer listening to an internet radio station and they are so sensitive that one can detect mistakes in the music that otherwise would be overlooked. As a musician myself it makes me feel better to know that even some of the more popular stars are not perfect on their recording. These headphones are GREAT.
