To the expert, sure you could tell the difference between this mic and a more expensive one. However, the price is unbelievable! If you want to do recording, obviously you need to invest in a better mic because you can tell the difference. But for a live performance, these work perfectly! And, you could buy 4 of these mics for the price of one good recording mic. You would be crazy not to buy them!

I work with amature singers, etc. youth events, and Church music in General, They sounded great with little crossover in the hands of people who didn't know which end to talk into. At the price; if they only last a year they are still a steal, I should have gotten 4.

I just tested the 2 mikes yesterday before a gig, and found the sound quality very good. The level output is not as great as my pro vocal mike, but I have plenty of amp power to make up for it. I was a little leary when I ordered because of the low price, but figured I had little to lose. I'm very pleased! I'll probably use these as guest mikes at events and replacement mikes for band members who've forgotten or don't have their own.

I have been using these mics 8 to 10 hours a week for many different styles of music for my karaoke shows. I am very happy with the performance! Great feedback control! Awesome clarity! And the additional reinforcement to the end of the mic body really helps against damage that could result from inexperienced singers handling them improperly!!! Great buy!!!
