Comments about Gear One PA1300 / Kustom KPC12 PA Package:

The system is very easy to connect to mics and speakers, and gain settings and equalizer are easy to use and work great. Sound quality is excellent, and system looks very professional and durable... an amazing value for the money. One thing I wish it included would be one or two mic stands to go with the two included mics. The only thing that I haven't figured out, and the manual doesn't describe, is how to use the DSP and FX features. Would be helpful if Musician's Friend would include an addendum instruction sheet describing how those features work and how to use those features.

Comments about Gear One PA1300 / Kustom KPC12 PA Package:

Plenty of power for the medium sized venues I usually play at, and at a good price. Was worried about the speakers being too top heavy on the stands, but as long as you don't stumble into them, it's not a problem. Took me a little bit of time to get the EQs straightened out, cuz it was a bit harsh on the highs, but once I figured it out it was great!

Very good sound for the price. Out of the box and set up in 15 min. Speakers better than picture, but stands leave a bit to be desired. Once again, great for the price.

First off, MF customer service is 2nd to none, these folks continue to impress me, and I will continue to do biz with them. This is a great setup for anyone on a budget. I feel like I got more than my moneys worth. The speakers are well built and sound great. Stands and mixer are nice. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 for the mics and cables. They work, but def will need to be replaced soon, as they are pretty cheap. Overall, the quality of the bigger parts outweighs the negative of the mics/cable, and this is a great value.

Comments about Gear One PA1300 / Kustom KPC12 PA Package:

Got this a few months ago for the "jam room"- works great ! As someone else mentioned the speakers are alot nicer than I would have thought- decent sound wise and the handles make it nice for gigging. The ONLY issue I've encountered is if you want to use a floor monitor with- AND use the Monitor Level knob- it HAS to be an Active/Powered floor monitor. You can however use the "out" line on the back of speakers to run passive floor monitors- But you then do not have independent level control for the floor monitor. Other than that it is a great system for the pesos- Enjoy

Comments about Gear One PA1300 / Kustom KPC12 PA Package:

This package deal is one of the best. After doing some extensive research I came to conclude that this was my best option. The only thing I can say about my decision is that it was the right one. The Kustom Speakers are a lot bigger than the picture suggests, so don't be mislead! They sound very clear and work well with the Gear One Mixer. The Mixer, though only six channels, provides a nice sound for almost anything you put through it. I've seen friends of mine have mixers that are plenty more expensive that are simply harder to use to get the best results. This mixer has fairly simple controls that makes it easy to find your sound. The microphones come accross as pretty cheap, and don't get me wrong, compared to my SM58 they are, but they will hold you over. The chords included are pretty long and are quite durable. The stands for the speakers included are also very nice. I would highly reccommend it, especially for the money.

Comments about Gear One PA1300 / Kustom KPC12 PA Package:

I had been looking at this pa package for awhile, did research an a few others at same price range. This one seemed like the better value and had more sound/tone options. Got it a few weeks ago and I am very impressed. I have yet to REALLY play around with all the dials and options...but the times I've used it the sound quality and options are far beyond the cost. Also, the speakers are way more impressive than the pics...they are heavier than they look, sound great, and are built to last. The speaker stands are just heavy plastic, but do the job. Mics so far seem "decent"....prob better for back up vocals as oppossed to lead...but not bad considering the GREAT value you get with PA/Speakers/stands....I am very happy with this unit...you will be too..

Comments about Gear One PA1300 / Kustom KPC12 PA Package:

I was pleasantly surprised, especially for 400 bucks. Setup was easy. Good volume and clarity. Speakers are not light, but not excessively heavy. My condenser mics worked well with phantom power. FX are OK, easy to use, but I tend to go light on the reverb and delay. EQ controls are good. Included mics are OK. The six channels make it especially useful for our band, which is acoustic guitar, bass and four vocals. Pretty sure we can use this for a variety of gigs, indoor and out. I've only set it up and used it once so far, so I can't speak to its durability. If it crashes on me, you can be sure I'll be back here to tell you about it.
