Complete PA sound package; including a pair of Kustom KPC12 12” loudspeakers, an 8-channel mixer, and 4 handheld vocal microphones.

This complete PA package includes a pair of Kustom KPC12 12” Loudspeakers, the Gear One PA2400 8-Channel Mixer, four Gear One MV1000 Dynamic Microphones, four XLR mic cables, two ¼” speaker cables, and two standard speaker stands.

KPC12 12” Loudspeaker
The Kustom KPC12 12" PA Speaker Cabinet with Horn uses a specially voiced crossover to ensure clear separation of frequencies for crisp, full-range reproduction. A 12" woofer delivers deep low frequencies, while a 6" x 12" horn produces bright high-end tones. The Kustom KPC12 PA Speaker Cabinet has 2 parallel input jacks, sturdy construction with reinforced corners and a heavy-duty Tolex covering.

PA2400 8-Channel Mixer
The Gear One PA2400 features two 400W amps that can be directed to left/right mains, mains/monitors, or bridged for an 800W mono. Each amp is plenty for powering most 15" two-way speakers. If you need a system with rock band club capability, the PA2400 has plenty of juice to handle the gig.

Each channel is equipped with a three-band EQ and FX/aux level, as well as a pan knob and a monitor level. Another feature of the PA2400 mixer is a pair of seven-band graphics, one for each amp. These make a huge difference because when you use monitors, they often need a completely different EQ profile than the mains. Having a dedicated monitor EQ lets you get more volume out of your monitors while avoiding feedback.

It features 24-bit FX processing with 100 preset selections including combinations of reverb, delay, echo, chorus, flanger, and rotary FX, each with variable parameters. Dialing up a preset couldn’t be easier. You simply turn a knob until the preset’s number shows in the display, and then press the knob to select it. The PA2400 has separate FX level controls for mains and monitors, and also provides a jack for connecting a footswitch that turns the FX on or off remotely.

Portable and ergonomically designed, with well-placed handles on each end, you won't break your back getting to and from your performance or practice space. The box features a tilt-back panel so when placed on a table, the control panel is at a perfect angle. If you are assembling a system that will let your band rehearse or perform, the PA2400 is a superb solution.

MV1000 Dynamic Microphone
The Gear One MV1000 dynamic, hand-held vocal microphone is ruggedly built with a crisp, clear presence, and cardioid polar pattern for rear isolation and higher gain before feedback. It comes with a carrying pouch, stand adaptor, and a one-year warranty.

Good enough for home use

Comments about Gear One PA2400 / Kustom KPC12 PA Package:

If you don't expect too much, it's good enough for home use or casual speaking. For dance parties, you will need help at LF - a subwooofer is recommended. It's so easy to setup that wife and daughters were singing chorus in 20 minutes after unpacking. I connected the laptop to aux in and they were ready to go. Functionally everything works as expected at this price range but I have an issue with the amp: It's noisy. Music drowns the noise out but it's loud enough to be annoying when music stops. Other reviewers did'nt mention noise, so I guess I got a bad one.

Browsed systems for days, came across this beauty and decided it sounded like a good deal. For the low end price I recieved a high end system! It has way plenty of power but if wanting more you can add to this system. I mainly use the system for Karaoke and havn't got to full volume yet, it's got big sound! I have also recorded with this system and recordings are crystal clear

          Good Product Great Service

Comments about Gear One PA2400 / Kustom KPC12 PA Package:

Do some research on the power level of an amp, the power rating of a speaker and what happens when clipping occurs - 5 yards. The long and short is this: If you are trying to power your system with an underpowered amp there is a danager that you will turn up the system past the point where the amp is under control, this causes the amp to clip. A low power amp that is clipping can cause damage to speakers that are rated far above the amps power output. So, a 100w amp that is constantly clipping can hurt 400w speakers to the point of destroying them.

This package comes with an 800w amp 400w x 400w and the speakers are rated at 100w continuous and 200w peak. So, you will reach distortion before you you get into clipping. And, because this is a quality amp you get a good solid power delivery of an eq'd signal that is more than enough to drive these speakers which are projecting nicely sitting on top of speaker stands, so you are not going to drive the system past distortion because you will be getting the quality level and sound that you need. If you need more than what this system provides in sound volume than you need additional speakers, which this system can handle in terms of supplying signal to an external amp or powered speakers. However, if you are in that boat in terms of sound level than you are already looking at larger systems, of which this system can be an effective part. Adding 1 1000w subwoofer to this system and powering it with the 800w bridge and then using 2 powered speakers on the stands would increase sound output significantly. There are many ways to configure this system and one needs to understand the system to do so. But, as is out of the box this system is great for situations that require a good amount of sound reinforcement without attempting to do more than it is designed to do. A 4-8 piece Rock-Country-Jazz band in an average size indoor setting would do just fine with this system right out of the box. the ability to add monitors right onto the amp is a do-able reality. And, as previously stated, adding in powered speakers to this system would provide all kinds of extra capacity which is good flexability to have but is not needed in terms of getting started. The mics work, obviously there are better mics, but these are not bad. I am going to use this system for a range of applications. In dance band/big band settings I will have a keyboard going direct to the amp/mixer there will be a solo mic for each horn section and a mic for fronting the band. I will add a mic to the system for a vocalist and probably a monitor, although I have set these speakers so that they are just back far enough so that the vocalist can use them as a monitor. For a small rock band/Horn band there is enough room on the mixer to run either direct input or mic from the guitar amp, go direct from the bass amp and keyboard amp, mic 3 horns and vocalist.

Long and short: This is by far the best value in all of these PA system packages. Even if you are staying small this provides excellent sound and for everything else it provides expansion possibilities while being usable right out of the box.
The Amp has lots o features and stuff you actually use. As a package this setup really does provide everything except mic stands.
Good quality. It is not the top level but it is incredible quality for the price range and of substantial enough quality to last and be functional.
The best value in a PA package. Usable everything.
