Gemini DJX-03 Professional DJ Headphones  

These headphones sound great, the balance is not perfectly flat but it is not that far. For the price I was amazed.

The bad abou this is that they are not very confortable, they press your ears and the are kind of painfull if you have piercings.

They do not isolate the external sound well, you will have to crank up the volume when playing on a loud venue and that is not good for your ears. Remember to take care of your hearing, or the fun that comes from music will be much gone. I had these as backups for my Xone's and one night the other DJ forgot his and I let him borrow these ones, I also used them myself for curiosity and I base my critique on that night. For DJ purposes in a club, these headphones are not up to standards. Better than no headphones but no thanks.

The apper to be made of "papier mache" but they are still holding up after about a year of ocasional use and being in my DJ bag.

I got them for a great price. I think it was a great deal.

Good sound, unconfortable, painfull if you have piercings and super cheap. The are OK for everyday ocassional use but NOT FOR DJING PURPOSES.

I don't know what headphones everyone else is using but I have massive ears and these things are very comfortable over the ears. They are not supposed to go around your ears, they are supposed to go on your ears. The only discomfort is a little bit on the top of the head after 3 hours of listening to them. Great bass, I just wish that there would be a little better quality, even if they had to knock the price a little for it.

I bought these as the Stupid Deal of the Day and I got what I paid for. These things worked great for the first few weeks. I used them with my iPod, Guitar/Amp, Boombox, and Computer. However, just recently, the left ear only has 2/3 the volume and it sounds sort of distant. I have only noticed this on the computer though, but I have had the same problem on many different computers I use.

For the price I bought these for, great. If you adjust sound properties you can equal out the sound but its still a little strange. The only regret I have is that I didn't buy two at the time. They broke quickly and 2 pairs would have been a better idea.
