The Harbinger HX152 Dual 15" 2-Way Speaker Cabinet has 2 - 15" audio speakers featuring a 2.5" high-temperature, precision edge-wound polyamide voice coil and an 80 oz. magnet structure. High Frequencies come through loud and clear with a 1.75" titanium diaphragm compression driver (1" exit) coupled to a constant directivity horn with 90 degrees (horizontal) x 40 degrees (vertical) coverage angles. An on-board crossover offers a 12dB/octave network features high quality, low-loss components with Inaudible Protection Circuitry (IPC) preventing diaphragm failure at maximum SPLs.

I've had 2 Harbinger HX152 Dual 15" 2-Way Speakers for over 6 months and gigged with them heavily in that time. We use a crossover and have (2) 18" subs handle the low end. They're basically handling our highs and mids, so I haven't experienced any of the muddy lowend frequency issues other reviews have listed. But it's a 2 way cab, not a 3 way. Something will suffer if used as such. The horns are very sensitive to "dirty" power as I noticed they hiss more at some venues than others. No issue when in use though. A little heavy, but (2) 15s and horn, what'd you expect? They've done everthing I've them to. I made the decision on them after comparing them to the lower end, comparable JBLs and Peaveys. They sounded better than both, and the Peavey didn't even have speakon/neutrik inputs. I would also add that due to the mid to entry level price, my band was their target demo. Our's bands' experience with being our own sound guy has been a learning process. We are constantly learning what to do and what not to do. These things have endured it all with flying colors.

I have had these cabs for about a year. They are built well and sound great but, I had a 15" blow in one and it took 8 weeks, and a report to the BBB to get them to respond. Good luck if you have a warranty issue.

Deep Lows and Punchy Mids. Use for DJ, Karaoke, and multiple instruments for a band. Sounded fantastic for ALL.
PROS: Casters make rolling cabinets easier.
Concave design saves space and looks modern.
CONS:
Heavy beast for single dj.

I bought these speakers a couple years ago for my band (Cole Porter Band) and we use these for all of our outdoor shows. I have comparted them to other dual 15 speakers and found these to have the best sound. Even better than the JBL dual 15's I think. My only complaint I have about them is you DO NOT want to use these in a small venue or club. These speakers are made to be cranked up and loud for big venues and outdoor shows. When you have them turned down and not very loud, the sound isnt as good as it can be. But other than that, they are amazing speakers and highly recomend them!

My band got these when we decided to get ourselves a nice PA. They are great speakers. They sound amazing. My only complaint about them, this goes with the subs that match these as well, is that they are made with cheap wood. The rubber legs fell out off our subs and the wood is broken down there after owning them for about 2 years. Other than that they are great!

I am a dj and a live sound tec. Ive gone to school for live sound tec and studio sound tec, so trust me when I say, Im proud to break these out. 600W RMS is great for more of your in door gigs. When ppl say theyve blow these, its cause they dont know what their doing (or else they wouldnt have blown them). They get a lil muddy round the super low end (38-42ish HZ) but thats what you buy subs for duh. the highs on these are very crisp and loud. the mids are strong yet out of the way (witch is good). And by the way, them being heavy is good. Thick wood provides good punch. This is my job, how i make my liveing, so im only gonna buy the good stuff. I speak highly of these speakers and so do outher sound tecs. Much better than the whole JBL line. Watch your power, EQ em, turn em up and party on!

I bought a pair of PV215 and returned them after hearing a pair of these next to them. I would not have believed the difference had I not heard it myself. Check it out, you will see. You wont be disapointed.

Used these for about 1 year for live shows. The sound is pretty good but the will clip a bit on the low end. The wheels are a bit flimsy, but handy if you take care on the steps (carry )with them. My biggest beef is no response at all from Harbinger for a parts issue. The boys dropped a cab in the back of the truck one night and the fuse popped out of the crossover. We couldn't find it in the cab and contacted the support email twice and have never heard back from them.

I have had these for a little over a year now. They sound good and have nice head room. My only complaint is the composite wood they use for these cabs, not a very good meterial concidering they are pretty heavy cabinets.The wheels are so little that I always end up having to carry them anyway. As long as you treat these with kit gloves you should be fine but they are just o.k. as far as I am concerned.

We have recently built up a system using the new Crown XTI amps, EAW LA-400 subs and these Harbinger dual 15's. Our system is processed with a DriveRack PA and the XTI's internal crossover and PEQ for the sub amps... The system has so much headroom and precise sound, that we and our audiences are extremely impressed with the performance. These speakers are in a class by themselves with such great sound and low price. We are buying more before they raise the price due to demand!!!!
