Comments about Harbinger V2112 600 Watt 12" Two-Way Powered Loudspeaker:

I ordered 4 of these because they were highly rated and the were easier to carry than my 15" monitors with "wood" enclosures. The price was right and since I generally only need to use two, I have backup. I got the warranty, but what good is a warranty when you are on location and people are waiting. All four fit in the van and I can lift and carry two at a time. Other speakers may sound better, but after a few drinks, nobody really cares.

Comments about Harbinger V2112 600 Watt 12" Two-Way Powered Loudspeaker:

I just bought a pair of the new vari series, I admit I was a little unsure about purchasing this product line, I new though that Harbinger went back into the lab and added some wattage to this new line. But the question is, could they hold some clarity? YES they can especially if you turn the lows down and add some high's, they do very well with a powerful Sub, which I have 3 of those, while they may not compare to the pricy JBL's, they can hold their own against the Alto's and even the Mackies, you just got to know how to tweak them. Best if you use them for monitors not mains...but if I had to I would...FIVE STARS....

Comments about Harbinger V2112 600 Watt 12" Two-Way Powered Loudspeaker:

Ok, I recently upgraded from Harbinger's 120 PA (with powered preamp and passive speakers) system to this good looking powered 12" speaker with built-in preamp. I'm not sure if it was bad luck, but the Harbinger 120 PA unit simply stopped sending sound whenever it wanted to for no reason at all.
The Guitar sales guys really did not completely understand how these units' functions, but I finally figured things out through trial and error. I wanted a two mic input plus one input for acoustic guitar.
This unit has only input 1 for a mic. Input 2 cannot take a mic. So, I figured out that when I connect a mic to the XLR connection on input 1 and my acoustic to the 1/4" connection to input 1 as well, I can get both to come through on input 1 after I turn on the mic at the mic itself. Plus the mic/line depress button has to be in "mic" position (I think?).
In addition, I can get me Droid Smart Phone to come through on input 2 for mp3, Youtube, Pandora and so on.
I now love this unit. Its sound is superb, and compact.
