I really wanted to like these speakers. They look really cool on your mixing desk with their red, black and silver. Slotted bass port and HF adjustment knob seem like desirable features comparable to other monitors in this price range. They sounded preaty nice too. However, the next day I came in and powered everything up, one of them was dead. I baby my equipment but wondered if I had blown a fuse. I checked the fuse and it was ok. I even tried the replacement fuse and it was not the issue. The other speaker was ok but I'm sending both of these back. Maybe I just got a bad one (or not).
