OVERVIEW

Open-architecture studio environment lets you create instruments and music in any genre.

The Fruity Edition of FL Studio 8 is a "lite" version of this popular DAW series, yet it includes several plug-ins, MIDI, and output support; it reads WAV, MP3, SYN, DS, Speech files; pattern-based event automation; multiple generators/soft synths; most of the music creation, mixer, FX rack, updates, and online features; more than 1900 presets using 600 WAV files; and a generic sample CD.

This flexible DAW was designed for the PC and Intel Mac running Boot Camp (see system requirements below), and requires no extra software to produce any style of music. With the included plug-ins, sounds, and tools, (as well as the other optional ones available), the user can create complete songs, as well as backing tracks, loops, and sizzling beats. Completed songs can be saved to WAV, MP3, MIDI, ZIP, or native project formats (FLP). However, it does not support audio tracks.

Easy to learn

By Anonymous

from Undisclosed

Fruity loops is a fully featured digital audio workstation that is easy to use and very flexible. The samples/generators you get with FL may not be exactly what you want for sound but you can always upgrade and buy fruity plugins or VST's. I've found that using FL to sequence and slaving Reason as an instrument works best for me. Bottom line. If you want to get something easy to learn that is affordable and expandable then try FL. Download the demo and check it out.
