Easy-to-use and super-portable.
The JBL EON510 is a 10", 2-way, powered portable speaker system. Capable of reproducing full-bandwidth sound at high levels, it offers the additional utility of a 3-channel built-in mixer. The EON510 is comprised of a 10" Differential Drive woofer, a 1" neodymium high-frequency compression driver coupled to a 100° H by 60° V waveguide. Both components are driven by the discrete channels of a 280-watt Class D integrated power amplifier. The PA speaker's input section contains all crossover functions, protection, and mixer functionality.

There is marvelous balance between the crisp highs; the presence projected in the mid-range, and just enough bass to compliment the over all sound. 'Pushed' by a Crown Amp, yet weighing under 20 pounds...I enjoy using this fine speaker.

After many phone calls on my eon 510 finally customer service came through, they agreed that I had been waiting long enough for parts to serve my unit and they decided to replace it with a brand new one. It was delivered over night before my next event. I Thank you them for that.

Please be aware that if your EON 510 gets broken, the warranty given by the manufacturing company will be a nightmare. For over a month they have not been able to provide the parts require to get fixed my unit. They got to the point that when they see your phone number on their caller ID, they let go the call to the mail box. Many broken promises from entry level employees to top management. My advice is that if you could buy from some other vendor(s) go ahead and save your self a headache.

Too soon to know if this is a tough as my previous JBL equipment, but the build quality appears excellent. Sound is a big step up from the Behringer B208Ds the two EON 510s replaced. I play in an acoustic duo and these are our main speakers. We place them slightly behind the front line and don't use monitors (floor monitors are big problems with dreadnought acoustic guitars). I received positive feedback on improved sound even from non-musicians who are only vaguely aware that we upgraded the PA.

This speaker is amazing! So lightweight at 16 lbs., I brought one to a full church assembly, and it sounded better than all of the other church speakers, combined!!! Tiny, but clear and powerful!
