Let's get real folks.... We are talking about a full package PA system!!! This "little system" (as I call it)is absolutely awesome for the price. I am on a professional competitive BBQ team in Memphis TN and we use this system to play canned music and for people to act stupid on the mic on some of our smaller competitions. There is absolutely, positively no system out there with this many features and sounds this good for the price. Unless you need to get ridiculously loud this system works great. Some of our team members play guitar and it will hook right up into this and sounds great. Let me suggest one thing... Upgrade the drivers... They are low quality plain paper drivers we wound up frying. I replaced them with some Emminence drivers (Goldwood is good too)and the thing sounds great. The tolex on the speakers tends to snag fairly easy and the name plate on one of the speakers has some cheezy glue... But back to my original statement.... A PACKAGE PA !!! If this head blows on us, I will definitely buy another, it is well worth the money.... Don't expect to run a heavy metal band through this, but if you want great sound for great price ESPECIALLY for canned music or maybe an acoustic electric guitar, this is definitely the system.

I'm writing another review because I don't think I did this PA the "justice" it deserves. I took it apart and fiddled with it and found out some interesting things. Apparently, the preamp for the mics is still functional, I now have it hooked up to our new PA, but since it's just the preamp, I can only use one speaker. It was the actual amplifier that died, but to get a new one would probably cost more than the unit is/was worth. Apart from containing my urge to pull out the capacitors and shock to death whoever came up with this thing, there wasn't much I could do with it, I need some explosives to blow it up. A lot of people have been complaining about The Squeal, and they're right. If any of the microphones are within ten feet of the head at half+ volume, you get an amazing amount of feedback for such a small device. The lack of anything whatsoever to remedy this problem really makes you wonder how the guys at Kustom tested this thing. The two sound-altering knobs do little to nothing to the actual sound, they just get harder and harder to turn as the lubrication wears off. Instead, I just use them to throw at our bassist whenever he messes up. So, out of 200 dollars wasted on this thing, all I got was a preamp and some plastic projectiles, and maybe some speakers I can sell on Ebay for some dirt-cheap price. Watch out for them! Oh, and keep up the good work, Kustom! We need lots more equipment that will blow up in a shower of fiery sparks! Did you guys by any chance hear about that club that burned down because their equipment died? Maybe not, it was local...

My guitarist bought this PA a few months back because we desperatly needed one. Its alright for playing softer, but it can't over power my drums, my bassist amp and my guitarists amp without alot of feedback. We can only turn the volume up a little past halfway without feedback. I would suggest saving a little more for something louder.
Bad*** practice PA, which is what I bought it for. It's enough for practice, but not for gigs - unless it's the happy acoustic hour in your friend's back yard. Not enough for what we need gig-wise, but great for practice as I said.
I purchased this system about 3 months ago and have been using them in the attic of my house. I have never had a problem with anything. The system sounds great and I have never gotten any feedback problems from my mic if I keep the volume around halfway. I have had some feedback problems from the mic inside my guitar, but I'm guessing thats common. The line in/out features are great. This little system is great for small audiences. Its probably not strong enough for mid-sized audience.
im in a garage band and we bought this thing cause of the great reviews... but when we got it... i was like... ummm there is no way that these speakers will rise over our music... but indeed i was proven wrong! i totaly recomend this item... its so awesome for a start!
Bought this system for my karaoke business and have had no troubles, it works great for both small and large clubs...
Don't expect huge performace. The amp seems to be better than the speakers. I bought this package for a spare DJ system and it gets the job done. Speakers are too small to be run on their own at a gig. Although we have run this setup along with a pair of BEHRINGER 1520 speakers and a second power amp and it sounded awesome !
very good for a starting grage band ......ROCK ON!!!!!
I've had this PA for over 4 years. We use it for practicing in my basement. That's about what it's good for. For a system with reverb and speakers, you CAN'T BEAT IT! I wouldn't take it out and gig with it.
This product is alright but the speakers suck, they arent as loud as you need them to be, also it screeches like you wouldn't believe, it isn't that powerful and you can probably find a better one on ebay this is coming from a kid who's band has gone on tour 3 times and believe me with this pa it hasn't been too easy I think in an honest opinion it is goof for maybe a 14-15 year old band but for 16-up its way to small and when you dont have the right gear it doesn't work that well for youthanks.
I use this system 3 to 4 nights a week with no problem. It is perfect for solo and duos playing small places. It is really amazing you can get this system for so cheap. The only bad thing is the speaker cables they broke after just a couple of uses. The speakers and the mixer is rock solid. Get this one for sure, you can't beat the price.
