I agree with the other reviewer who noticed that negative comments were from people misusing these: Kids who play percussive sounds at concussive volumes, guitarists who play very low with ridiculous distortion,Amateurs who use the wrong power amp, bad gain-structure or daisy-chain to improper ohmage...Any such user can damage a speaker through gross negligence and woeful ignorance. It's like a new-driver complaining when he wraps his car around a tree at 80 MPH and then whines because it won't run. "BUT.. How was I supposed to know it wouldn't stop going downhill on ice?!"I repair audio gear and see this every day.A little education goes a long way.Use a good power-amp.Adjust gain so there is NO distortion.Operate within stated RMS handling, (one-half peak)Never operate below 4 ohmsHEED those rules and these will work fine.Understand those rules and every piece of audio gear you use will last longer and sound better. That includes big-buck speakers and inexpensive but high-value speakers like these. If you never read a manual, never learn about power-ratings and impedance, never learn about speakers or amplifiers, DO NOT blame the equipment when it blows up. That's like blaming the gun when you shoot yourself in the foot. Not only are these a good value, but with a few low-tech tweaks you can make them sound even better. And if you outgrow the components, you can always replace speakers, tweeters and crossovers. The cabinets, though made of MDF, are machine cut to tight tolerances and have good internal geometry. With a little acoustic-stuffing in the cab and in the back of the cheap tweeter, you can improve frequency-response for about one dollar. If you want good light weight cabs to mount really good components, these will do. Just be sure to choose the right drivers for the application. These are a bargain. Use them as-is within reasonable limits, OR, modify them for greater performance. Either way, you get a lot for your money. Smart people always get more bang for their buck because they read and learn before they buy and use.I see clients who sound good using cabs like these for DECADES, with no problems. I see other folks who buy MUCH more expensive stuff and blow it up the first weekend they use it. There is no such thing as an "idiot proof" speaker.

This works fine as a stage monitor. That's what it's for, and that's it. It may have limited use as a Front of House PA speaker, but only in small buildings and at low volumes. If you put on much bass, it will rattle. It won't take rough handling. Mine came with a cracked corner protector and a the back of the piezo horn was unglued as a result of rough handling by UPS. M.F. customer service made it good.

Comments about Kustom PA KPC210M Dual 10" 2-Way Monitor Wedge:

I use these for monitors and they sound great. They are not made for big area events so do not even try it. For church, buisness meeting, or other mid to smaller events it will be perfect. They can be used as mains and have the hole in the bottom for a pole mount but the 70hz is a little too high for my needs. I use a Phonic PA system with two 15in mains on pole mounts and two Kustom dual 10in cabs as the monitors. We do live shows and in medium sized buildings. I have six acoustic players and four lead singers sharing three mics. It took me a while to dial the sound in but once we got it the PA and the setup we have sounds great. It is nothing fancy by no means but it does sound nice. If you want a deal keep checking the website on Black Fridays I purchased them Cheap and with Free shipping good luck!

This speaker doesn't need a lot of power to be quite loud (100 watt amp) Using it with a miked acoustic piano in a theater so the piano player doesn't have to work so hard to get the volume

We have one of these and looking to get another one. It has great sound and is a work horse on stage. Thinking about using it for mains as we play in small venues. I would buy more of these. Kustom has always had great speakers.

        Great Bass Cabinet

        By JimFordMusic

        from Seattle, WA

Comments about Kustom PA KPC210M Dual 10" 2-Way Monitor Wedge:

I bought this to try 10" speakers for upright bass as well as electric bass. I had always used either 15" or 12" speakers before. These dual 10s gave a much more directed and focused sound in comparison. Made my accoustic bass pickup really shine for a good jazz and blues sound. The tweeter gave me a very even freq response for high range of the bass strings. Still just as deep as larger speakers on the bottom it seems. 2-10s is half of a typical 4-10s bass cab, but much lighter for gigs that don't have to be that loud. I liked it so much that I bought a second set to complete a full 4-10s package, but each piece is light, but the sound should be even larger. Plus it will drop to 4 ohms to get the maximum out of my amps. I use either a GK with 300 watts or a new EA digital amp with 500 watts to 4 ohms. Would not drive it all the way by any means. Looking forward to the second cab arriving soon.

Comments about Kustom PA KPC210M Dual 10" 2-Way Monitor Wedge:

I have had three of these on our PA for about two years now. They work wonderfully! Very good, crisp sound. I have a set of peavey monitors and these sound just as good if not better. They handle guitar and vocals well, but I would not run much bass or drums to them in fear of blowing the horn. But if you use them right and dont abuse them they are great speakers!

Comments about Kustom PA KPC210M Dual 10" 2-Way Monitor Wedge:

Disregard the bad reviews!! I own three of these and played over 150 gigs with them, not counting all the practices in between. They sound great. I find that with most of the bad reviews on PA equipment on here is people trying to do something with equipment it wasnt designed for. These are rated 150watts RMS, which would be about 75 watts continuous. 75 watts is LOUD on a stage, especially when it is right in front of your mic blasting you in the face. I have never once had any kind of issue with these. As long as you dont try to push them past what they are made to do they are great
