As a 25 year Mobile and Radio Disc Jockey, I have used all kinds of equipment n the field. The best speakers I ever used were the 800watt Peavey 3020HT and the 2400watt Sonic HT3624's for the extreme gigs. Since neither company makes anything close to that kind of speaker anymore, I settled on a set of these Kustom KPE215Hs. Checking the internal bracing, I found that there is an extensive and elaborate Sound chambering system built into the cabinets, plus, I found out Kustom secretly uses Eminence Beta 15s in them. I was wondering why I was running well over 400 watts in them and they were not even breaking a sweat. So I ran a Bridged 1150watt amp to one of these, with bass and treble EQ boosting, I ended up running the amp all the way up until the amp had just started to flicker its Clip lights. I found that 600Watts is the RMS Program PER 15" Speaker, which they are ran in Parallel which bring the RMS power handling to 1200 watts!!! I know they can hold it easily for hours from experience. Kustoms underrated these monsters so much, that in reality, they are direct competition to the Yamaha 215 cabinets, which use the SAME bass transducers!! Don't be scared to drive these with double the advertised peak power! It is even on the Eminence website that they are suppliers of the speakers for the Kustom 215 cabs!

I bought 4 Kustom KPC215H 2X15 PA Cabinet. They sounded ok, nothing to write home about. Until we sent a little feed back though them and smoked all four horn drivers!! Total junk! Who doesn't have feedback from time to time? So I Got me 4 Selenium D220Ti-OMF-8 drivers from parts express and installed them. Wow now there all most worth what I paid for them! They sound 200% better and the Selenium's will take over 150 watts at the 3500hz x over these cabs have. The original drivers are 40 watts. Bet you didn't know that.

Comments about Kustom PA KPC215H 2X15 PA Cabinet Pair:

This is the first PA for my new band. We haven't gigged with them yet but they sound great in rehearsal. I also purchased the Crown XLS 1000 and the Nady GEQ 215 for use with this system. Bands come and go so I feel it was a wise investment for a start up situation. Good enough quality to do small to medium gigs with "new" equipment with a warranty. Hopefully things will work out so we can upgrade in a year or so. This gear will be gigged about 2-4 times per month so it should hold up. I'll let you know later how it all works out.

These sound great. They are bulky, but hello, they are 2 x 15 pa cabs right? They're not made to be carried under one arm. I could not believe how inexpensive they were, yet sound terriffic. You will not be disappointed.

Comments about Kustom PA KPC215H 2X15 PA Cabinet Pair:

I bought a pair of these used. Honestly I was going in to the purchase with some reservations but boy I was impressed. I really do not like the fake leather covering but the sound surely outways that negative. The sound is really crisp. The subs hit hard and crisp. Pretty impressed overall. I have ran Carvin LS before and these perform just as nice.

        Church Praise Band

        By

        from Wichita, KS

Comments about Kustom PA KPC215H 2X15 PA Cabinet Pair:

We have a church praise band and needed decent PA for budget minded people. Bought a pair of the KPC's and have had no problems with them at all. In fact we love them. Powered by an old EV Q-66 amp and I have yet to overpower them. Good crisp sound with great mids and highs, when EQed correctly. Put a pair of Kustom 18" subs underneather and my oh my what a great sound.

These speakers sound great! My high school used these speakers for homecoming, prom, and graduation ceremonies and they worked great. I'm using a Mackie 1202-VLZ3 mixer and Crown XLS 202D power amp and its the perfect package. These speakers will blow windows!
