I used to use these for vocals in a band but now use them for mobile DJ applications and have mixed feelings about them. First and foremost, they are HEAVY! ~90 lbs. each and very akward to maneuver. 2 man job, for sure. Second, they're HUGE and, unless you have a pickup truck or van, are a nightmare to transport. Third, they don't have amazing bass reponse. They sound punchy because frequencies around 100hz to 500hz are emphasized, but they've got nothing below about 65hz. The high frequencies are wishy washy at best," too. Now for some good things: I used them once with an 18"" subwoofer and was very satisfied with the results. Once again", though, highs were missing. They are indeed pretty dang loud too, I'll give them that. I give them a moderate 5 rating because the size and weight are way too much to deal with for the mediocre sound quality, especially if you're doing mobile DJing and playing a lot of music with low frequency information (dance, hip hop, dubstep). However, if you're not an audiophile, don't plan to move them, and volume is your cup of tea, consider these.

When they are working they sound decent! They are just too fragile.
Features are Good
I own 2 of these and after around 5 gigs the cone and the gasket came apart on the speakers for one of them. 20 gigs later it happened to the other one. The tech I took it to said it was bad design and a bad glue job on the speakers. I never overpowered them or kept them in bad conditions (they were always inside cool and dry place).
Can't beat the price

Comments about Kustom PA KPC215H 2x15" PA Speaker Cabinet with Horn:
I bought two of these speakers for DJ/karaoke use in a semi-fixed installation, and occassional mobile DJ-ing. While they are heavy, and would be a pain to move two or three times per week, they're great for a club where you can leave them set up. The sound is nice and clear, good bass, and crisp highs. As others have noted, a little tweaking with an eq will take your sound from "good" to "amazing", and a good amp is a must. I use a Peavy mixer, dBx eq, and a Crown DriveLine (XLS1500) amp, and get great sound, even in smaller venues where I don't use my subs (2 X Seismic 18" Down Firing, with a Crown XLS2000 amp).
These speakers are built very solidly, with good quality components, and hold up very well. If you know what you're doing, run a good quality amp with plenty of power, and stick to the RMS power rating of the speakers, they'll give you years of good service and great sound.

If you don't know a lot about sound, these cabinets are an excellent starting point for you! Punchy bass, clean, crisp highs... and enough power to handle the events you will book when starting out with live sound or with a dj rig. For a full-range cabinet, they are balanced very well. As far as hookups go, mixer line out to amp in, and speaker out to 1/4" posts on the speaker... Nothing simpler than that. No crossover or other equipment necessary. Take a chance and buy 4 if you need a bigger sound... but have a trailer or cube van!
Comments about Kustom PA KPC215H 2x15" PA Speaker Cabinet with Horn:
Just got them yesterday - have been trying them out - both with recorded music (which were way to loud for my practice area) - and playing some acoustic mic'd guitar and vocals through them. I am running them off of a Crown XLS 1000 (rated 350 watts per channel) and these things sound great. Clear, bright, beefy bass, all ranges. So far so good. I am glad I bought them. My son is very excited because his rock band plans on using them too. Great deal for the money - if nothing else - use them for practice and backups for your expensive cabinets. But if you are on a budget - these will treat you just fine. Excellent value.
Comments about Kustom PA KPC215H 2x15" PA Speaker Cabinet with Horn:
I had to purchase these because I purchased the exact same type of cabs from another company and their speakers were blowing like popcorn. Every two weeks another speaker would blow. I?ve had these Kustoms for over a month now playing outside gigs, and I?ve never gotten my 300 watt Crown amp over half way. The bass KICKS, and the high?s are spot on. I am a one man act that records music in my home studio and then performs live with the recordings. I?m running my guitar and the recorded music through these speakers with drums, bass, and strings, and it produces ALL of it perfectly (I am running a graphical EQ) Get em now if your thinking about it before the price goes up. They are built well, sound great, and have a 2 year warranty. You can?t loose.
Comments about Kustom PA KPC215H 2x15" PA Speaker Cabinet with Horn:
i ordered these cabinets i while ago and when they got to my house i opened them up and was very pesimist to how these would sound, because they were relatively smaller than others i have used. when i hooked them up to my XLS 602 i was impressed, i used them in a gig that could have easily been 800 people there. i used only two of these and the sound was crisp and great.. i can't be any happier
Comments about Kustom PA KPC215H 2x15" PA Speaker Cabinet with Horn:
I have a pair of these and although I have used much, much louder cabs (in reference to better power handling), these things do kick! Very punchy bass; maybe not the best low-end response, but very punchy. Great set for the price.
